We are right in the middle of the week and Ken and Marianne are both off. I believe that will remain for the rest of the week. In today's show Tina becomes a Cowgirl as she prepares for her trip to Dallas for the Country Music Awards. Plus she will be back in time for Newcastle Pizzeria in this weeks Dishin With Tina. Kristin goes to UC Davis to check out the Aggie Women's Lacrosse team. Alexis Uncle Mike will join to show Pool Maintenance during the drought. Mike is the owner of Geremia Pools. AGGIE WOMEN’S LACROSSE TEAM Today on Good Day Kristin was checking in w/ the UC DAVIS Women’s Lacrosse Team before their season ends. This is the 3rd year for Coach Kate Henwood. Kristin got an update on the season and meet the standouts and preview Friday’s game. They have four games left, three of which are at home field.

Alexis: POOL MAINTENANCE IN DROUGHT
Today on Good Day Alexis was with Uncle Michael Geremia talking Swimming pools are water savers not water wasters. During our drought there are ways you can take care of your pool to conserve. Michael Geremia of Geremia Pools is also the chairman of the California Pool and Spa Association and last year they put together the Let’s Pool Together campaign to publicize these ideas. They distributed it thru the water districts, sent it to the major utilities and sent it to the service organizations throughout California.

Today was so much fun with first Alexis and Cody Hosting then Courtney and Cody then Laura and Cody then Mark and Laura. Some of the best stories of the week thus far took place today. So let's try and recap the best I can starting with Kristin, Alexis, Mark, Cody, Courtney, Cambi and Tina.



Kristin was at UC Davis as the Ladies Lacrosse team finish up their season and Kristin ended the segment on the field with them. Kristin has still got skills.



As the drought continues in California many questions remain and today on Good Day Alexis got answers for those who own pools during the drought and how to take care of them. Alexis was with her Famous Uncle Mike who is the owner of Geremia Pools one of the top and best pool places in the area getting those questions answered.



Mark in between News of the Weird and Infotainment and Co Hosting Mark was in Elk Grove at Camden Springs for a 70th Anniversary for Vi and Irv who have a GREAT relationship and still going strong.



Cody had a very busy not only co hosting but also talking how wineries use babydoll sheep around their harvest. Plus some sheep came into the studio and John, Tracy and Eleanor loved them as you can see in the photos. Cody also talked about Forbidden Foods that are actually good for you and finally Cody brought NASA Man out to talk about some cool NASA Stories.
 


Courtney was playing Teens Tunes and hosted for awhile before she headed to the zoo for Zoo Zoom taking place this Sunday where local running clubs will run vs a hawk.



Cambi had the story every GUY loved. She was taking a workout class called Twerk It Out. Not only did you get Cambi twerking but other beautiful women shaking it.



Tina is heading to Dallas for the ACM Awards Sunday at AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. But first Tina needed a little Country help with her attire so she and Dave Gras headed to the Boot Barn in Rocklin for a makeover. In my opinion Tina looked liked a beautiful Indian Princess. Boot Barn did an EXCELLENT job. Then Tina came back into the studio to do her Wednesday Edition of Dishin With Tina with this weeks feature Newcastle Pizzeria.

Courtney: MAN VS. HAWK DASH
Man vs. Hawk! Today on Good Day Courtney gave a preview of a local running club going head-to-head with a Sacramento Zoo hawk in a timed dash! Same distance — one by land and one by air — to see which species reigns supreme! Winner gets ultimate bragging rights!! It’s all to promote this Sunday’s 35th Annual ZooZoom to raise money for the zoo’s animal care and enrichment. Feeding animals and keeping them occupied can be a difficult and expensive task. In order to keep their minds and skills sharp, a variety of enrichments need to be made daily. Enrichments emulate foraging for food and the use of skills that would be necessary in the wild. More than 450 animals call the Sacramento Zoo home; help fill their bellies and minds.
