American Girl Fashion Show
Today on Good Day with Courtney it’s a win/win. The American Girl dolls are coming to life in a runway fashion show, and the proceeds from the event go to benefit Sacramento Crisis Nurseries. The show will be taking place at The Center 2300 Sierra Boulevard Sacramento, CA on APRIL 17 – 6PM APRIL 18 – 10AM & 2PM TICKETS $25-$35

Courtney is back and so too is the rain, wind and snow. Before I get to the show let me first address today's news portion of the show and how GREAT the Good Day Team did covering the Rain, Wind, and Snow with all the accidents as well. At one point 8 accidents took place on one Freeway. Courtney took control of the Traffic center while Nha, Tina and Dave covered the accidents. News Director John continued to put up traffic team and weather forecast videos via Twitter and Facebook to keep us all updated on the roadways and the weather. Alexis did an outstanding job in the weather center until Laura took over and did outstanding. Ken and Marianne conducted the entire days events with updates and tosses to the reporters and camera crews. Kristin with Photog Steve headed up the hill where the snow was falling. Nha then covered a power outage in the South area and Terry was at a House fire where 2 dogs had to be rescued to safety. Again this is why in my opinion the GREATEST Morning News Team. 



Now for what took place on the show...
With the drought still looming Gary Klien came into the studio to teach Laura and us how to save on Hot Water and conserve. 



Jason was covering much of the fun stories first checking out a Giant's Theme Pool Table and then he headed to Grand Illusions where he met up with Steve Johnson to show him around the store and some cool magic tricks. 



Tina was in the kitchen once she returned from the wet roads to talk about National Grilled Cheese Day April 12 with Whole Food Market.



Cambi got to check out a Kooky Collection of Mannequins and then Linda showed her the Pantyhose Box Collection she has. Once she left there she headed to a local authors home where Cambi tried a smoothie from the viewers new cookbook. 



Billy Crystal and Josh Gad brought the laughs when they talked to Marianne and Ken



Courtney gave a preview of the American Girl Doll Fashion Show.
