It's the final Sunday in April and today's show had a ton of stuff. Sunday Staples like Ask Eleanor, Dishin With Tina, The Plant Lady answered viewer questions. April is National Poetry Month and Poet Reader Frank Andrick will read viewer poems as well as some of his. Cambi is going to be with Sac State Row Team. It will be one of the stories I spotlight. Sac State Men’s Rowing
Today on Good Day Cambi was at Sacramento State Aquatic Center with the men’s Sacramento State Men’s Rowing team. The Men’s Rowing team was formed in 1984 and train 6 days a week for 3 hours each day. They are competing with other schools in a championship.

Nha: Makeover Marathon
Today on Good Day Nha was at the Minx Salon and Spa in Loomis who is hosting a Makeover Marathon! They created this event to give women, who are currently going through or are in remission of cancer, a day to feel beautiful. By providing them with makeup makeovers and a mini photoshoot. Leading off today Cambi was with the Sac State Swim team as they take part in an all day competition. Cambi continued her day with Alex the Yelp Guy checking out one of the top restaurants in Sacramento called La Trattoria Bohemia. Cambi was in Roseville at True Image Salon who is giving back to breast cancer for the entire month of May. 



Nha started her day in Rocklin at Outdoor's Pickin Emporium checking out there 4th Sunday sale. A very cool event is taking place today in Loomis at Minx Salon and Spa They are giving makeovers to the proceeds to go Cancer research. Nha then went to the start of Runnin For Rhett whose family we met on Thursday's Good Day.



Frank Andrick Good Day's resident poetry reader was in as he read poems all morning long. You can see Frank at Luna Cafe in Sacramento.

Lori started her day at Capital City Classic in Downtown Sacramento. Lori then headed to a basketball camp that featured some of the top girls in the region. Lor then headed to Raley's to learn how to make meals in 15 minutes with a Top Chef.

Cody was talking with Justin who does a great Chewbacca impression about Pirates and Paws at the Dive Bar 1016 K St. Sacramento, CA April 29th: 7:30pm-10:30pm. Today in National Pretzel Day so with help from Pretzel Makers they showed Cody how to make a pretzel 



With Summer coming Melissa was getting beauty tips from Justine Santaniello from Just Haves

Bryan was badly beaten while attending a baseball game 4 years ago and has gone through many hours of Physical Therapy and surgeries to find his way back. Cambi: The Yelp Guy
Once again on Good Day Cambi met up with Alex the Yelp Guy at La Trattoria Bohemia. Alex is the local leader of the Yelp community. He’s had his finger on the pulse of what’s what in Sactown since before 2Pac made it sound cool. You might spot him out and about searching for his new favorite place. The name tag on his (virtual) desk says he is a ‘Community Manager,” although he also goes by the “Yelp Guy.”

Lori West Coast Shootout
Today on Good Day Lori was checking out the West Coast Shootout! The JBS Basketball Club started out at as a small tournament at Highlands High School back in 2003. Since then the event has grown every year and they've seen more and more coaches from the top Universities across the United States. The JBS Basketball Club’s West Coast Shootout event has helped over 100 young ladies achieve college scholarships.

Runnin’ for Rhett is a non-profit foundation that was founded on December 7th, 2007 by a grass roots group of family and friends that love Rhett Seevers.
