Young Saxophonist, Braxton Cook is a 22-year-old very accomplished young saxophone player and attends school at Julliard in New York City. This year he was one of only 12 “Worldwide” finalists that played at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, in the Thelonieus Monk Jazz Competition. He has also shared the stage with Wynton Marsalis at the Lincoln Center in New York and has played throughout Europe.

Today marks the final Friday of 2013 and the list of the year are in full force.
My58 had the list of the Top 10 songs of 2013 according to Billboard. Do you know what this list tells me? I'm old. I've heard of 2 or 3 songs on the list and only like 1.... Roar because I have the eye of the tiger.
Fox40's Zohreen had a pretty cool story for ski lovers and the new Oakley goggles. I'm not a skier because things attached to my feet ends bad 99% of time. I can ice skate but I need a hockey stick to help me... New York thing plus I haven't been on skates since 1980 my last winter in NY.
The other funny story from Fox today was Sabrina making the news top bloopers of 2013 when a baboon got a little frisky lets say.
Good Day Sacramento I love you. I would never leave you but you for to do not just me but other viewers a favor. Send Cody to Pasadena to cover the BCS Championship game. Steps have already been taken for me to take over twitter while Cody enjoys the game. In addition today you showed stories of people (kids) getting tickets to the game, Cody could find them and do live reports about them, find the little old lady of Pasadena and still work the show Saturday and Sunday with taped segments for Monday. Kristin had an Idea today because she had light bulbs on her mind... That was #CodytoPasadena oh and checking out a new Korean Store that was very fishy. :)
As I said at the top of Final Thoughts lists of the year are out and Cody & Ken shared odd baby names of the year and Courtney shared list of songs, people & trends that need to just go away in 2014.
Ken and his Manly Minute was really good today and surprising that he did not mention the Buffalo Bills who came in at 17 on the list. Thanks for sparing me the pain but making me laugh with the Jets.
We met a young man from Ceres who is the USA Today Ultimate Athlete of the year candidate and WON!!!!
Braxton Cooks has a bright future in music. This sexy sax man has the look, sound of a Bradford Marseilles and you can see him live this weekend in Elk Grove.
Ju introduced us to a local inventor from Placerville who helps those belt buckles easier.
We have officially danced into the weekend and now we turn the controls over to Cody and Amy for the Weekend show. One side note about Monday... It will be a Good Day Sacramento exclusive Today in the News.
