Final Thoughts:
Today was a food truck bonanza on Good Day Sacramento today. 3 food trucks stopped by the station with 3 different ideas. The first food truck in the 7am hour brought breakfast.. This waffle truck made from a VW van rolled out the red carpet to deliver their tasty treats. The next food truck to stop by was Chandos Tacos. They've been in business for years traveling around Sacramento but in 2010 while I was visiting Good Day Sacramento Weekend they announced a store location on 5665 Power inn rd. #104 Sacramento, Ca. 95825 Tel: 916.387.8226 Hours: 8:00AM - 10:00PM. The final truck to come in was  Pups N’ Cups. This truck has a GREAT idea. They not only serve coffees, teas, smoothies and more to people but they also have treats for your pet. This is a great idea. A lot of businesses in the Los Gatos area do this as well with treats for dogs and it is encouraged to take them or get them water.


The 7am hour of Good Day Sacramento was a very fast paced hour. Melissa had a BREAKING NEWS story of 6 vehicles crashing along HWY-50. We got all the juicy gossip from Ms. Eleanor including Katy Perry saying Britney in Vegas, she rather watch paint dry. Charity was in charge of Recipes from home with a local Elk Grove viewer Ken, who took his Grandmothers recipe for Chicken and Dumplings and perfected it. Neda took the Truck Tracker assignments today and first she went out to a viewers home who has an Arenacross track in his backyard. Finally in the 7am Cody and Lori talked to Michael for the Little Drummer Boy Challenge and many people watching the show last weekend got taken out when the band played the song even after the producers asked them not to but that was the only song they had prepared so out we viewers went.


In the 8am hour today Neda tried her hand at riding the backyard track and had to use the mini bike. Charity finished up the Recipe from Home and LOVED IT!!! Melissa checked out New Years Eve cocktails from 15L and how to get rid of the hangover. One thing missing from today was the viewers who tried to patch from yesterday's show to see how they did with or without the hangover. HMMM? The people from Learning Express in Roseville came into the studio to teach and make Rainbow Looms. WOW!!!! These are impressive. Cody was the designated wearer and they made him quite the collection of Auburn Tiger colored Looms hopefully he can show them off January 6, 2014 at the Championship Game but each day that passes seems highly unlikely he will be going but for now until we have official work #CodytoPasadena Lori also got tips and tricks from Makeup artist Nicole for New Years.. Be sure to follow her on Instagram. Beautiful photos of her work. I'm going to turn over her info to my Best Friend so she can look amazing at her parties throughout the year. Cody introduced us to a local father/son who got Dinosaurs fossil teeth for Christmas. WOW!! Was this ever impressive. Also in the 8 our favorite Plant Lady was in studio to answer viewer questions. Marlene Simone is AWESOME!!! Of course the one staple of the 8am hour is Dishin With Tina. Today Tina went to A & K BBQ. This looked so good.


In the 9am hour besides asking the Plant Lady questions Neda checked out a fun place to go to learn and watch horses perform at Old Town Tumbleweed in Elverta. This was so cool to watch. Melissa went to All the Way Fit to get the body of Beyonce but lets be honest Melissa is better with what she has. Charity met a local Roseville man who won the 2013 Pickleball Championship and taught her how to play and what Pickleball is. Lori checked in on the Loomatics and their progress. Cody talked with SPCA about 3 adorable dogs waiting to be adopted.


In the final hour of the 2013 year of Good Day Sacramento Weekend The Plant lady showed how to make a quick cement planter box using a plastic tub. Charity played Pickleball and Neda got to see the horses at Old Town Tumbleweed do tricks including one dressed like Cody in a Bowtie. Melissa checked out a new family fun restaurant, Arcadia Family Entertainment. They have only been open a little over a month. The GREAT LuLu Luxe Hair Lounge came into studio for hair tips for New Years Eve parties. Lori had our Hot Headlines and Cody checked in on the Rainbow Looms. Finally. Stories like the ones Neda did and the Fossils only happen because viewers submit their ideas to the Truck Tracker.
