We've reached the Cyber Monday portion of the 2013 Holiday Season and the businesses are hitting the consumer hard. Deals from 20-70% off on some sites. The Titans fell to the Colts 22-14
The Buffalo Bills fell in OT to Atlanta from Toronto for their annual game that takes away from 1 home game in Buffalo. This game is the worst idea ever. The Bills have nothing but bad luck when playing here. They have only won one of the games and then proceeded to lose the rest of them that season following the game. On this day a highly questionable call helped send the game to OT but the drive that proceeded the Falcons touchdown ended in a Stevie Johnson fumble. Getting a bit of a break the Bills got the ball first only to have TE Scott Chandler to fumble the ball setting up the game winning Falcon field goal ending the game at 34-31.
Final Thoughts:
It was a Very odd day at My58. Lisa G, Deirdre, and Jaclyn were all off while Brian Hickey filled in for traffic and Leticia Ordaz sat in with Teo.
As I mentioned the stations blanketed Cyber Monday. I felt like My58 covered more of the business side of the day. While its appreciated its viewers like me who rather see what the deals are not so much how it will benefit the companies and the economy.
Fox40 also covered Cyber Monday but it was the Toy drive that Zohreen talked about from Papa Murphry's while making pizza that caught my attention mostly today. I've included the information both in Fox40 section and Special announcements and will remain there until the event is over.
Good Day Sacramento had the best Cyber Monday coverage with Melissa and Nerds on call. Nerds on call did an excellent job as always helping viewers find the best deals while Mel gave great websites to use for deals.
Mark S. Allen returned from vacation to travel back & forth on the Real McCoy II but it was his reflection on the passing of Paul Walker that meant a lot.
Though Good Day Sacramento did a lot on the show it was the news that broke around 930am with Audrey. Her announcement of her pregnancy was so exciting it's always great to add viewership to the show. I cannot wait to find out what she'll be having.
All in all the shows did well but it was Good Day Sacramento who had the better coverage of Cyber Monday and I think Nerds on Call helped with my opinion on that.
