We talked about it yesterday but it bares repeating to cover your plants, water, and put Christmas lights on them to keep warm. It is also important to keep your dogs and cats inside with you. Yes they have fur but when temps drop into the high 20's / Low 30's that fur is not going to keep them warm. Final Thoughts:
As the freezing temps continue and snow may fall in the valley by the weekend the holiday season revs up and so to do the gift ideas. My58 showed lots of toys for kids and the older kids today but the one story that caught my attention was the mom from Elk Grove who was kicked off Facebook for making comments that could have been taken offensively. Maria Kang who much like the girl from the #9amtopic on Good Day Sacramento first got her attention by posting her amazing body after giving birth to 3 children is an advocate for healthily living and trying to motivate woman to workout and not become heavy or obese but her constant flaunting of her accomplishment and sometimes negative comments start to wear thin on me. You've been on Fox & Friends, Fox40 My58 and who knows where else. Yes preach it but stop offending people. I'm all about living healthy but I'm not bringing people down.
Fox40 saw Bethany missing today after attending a concert last night. My guess Now100.5 Santa Slam featuring Back Street Boys and the Fray. We did see Zohreen previewing the Lodi Parade of Lights and The Firehouse restaurant was in the kitchen.
Good Day Sacramento got into the spirit today with their week long cool toys segment with Courtney. Today RC Ironman and dancing robot. Cody got to go to the BIG Meyers sale where everything is at least 30% off. Melissa helped decorate the Roseville tree before the event tonight in addition of checking out cool gift ideas at Hand Pickin Emporium. Courtney and crew played What the Heck is that from Emigh Hardware. Marianne talked relationship with a husband & wife team. Marianne also tried the new Jamba Juice Jubilee Eggnog and liked it but she enjoyed her homemade eggnog better. It was nice to see Bailee help in the making of it. In the 9am hour Gina from ThriftTown came in to talk Ugly Sweaters and the Good Day Sacramento cast and crew joined in for an Ugly Sweater fashion show before taking a family photo around the Good Day Sacramento Christmas Tree.
So with all that said the shows today did well. Tomorrow you can hangout with Mark S. Allen & Jason at Dell’Osso Family Farm for holiday fun for FREE!!!! Plus we dance into the weekend. Until then have a great day and stay warm.
