Run Forest Run... Today in the News Weekend Edition Part 2 12/9/2013:

Opening Statement:
As we celebrate the Auburn Tiger win with Cody we quickly reflect on the GREAT win knowing that tomorrow we have to return to work. We have to return to work to get Cody to Pasadena as it appears that is where the Tigers are headed to take on the Seminoles. I don't have the perfect plan but once I do I will inform all of you how we the people get Cody to Pasadena. Yes, the live tweets are fun during the game but the goal is to get Cody into the game, get Cody to cover the pregame, and post game festivities like Cody can and would Good Day Sacramento style. We have trended on Twitter the last 2 times. If we get Cody to the game we will continue the live tweets much like we did for Under the Doom #HalfCow. Let's all be patient and follow Cody's lead.

Final Thought:
Run Forest Run... Wait that not Forest that's Melissa running the CIM and Lori Wallace tracked her and all the runners today in this 26.2 mile marathon. Technically Lori finished first but she was in the live truck keeping warm. As Good Day Sacramento left the air Mel was at the 15 mile mark at last update. However the update just at the time of writing (1135) she just passed the 21 mile mark and doing GREAT. So proud of her. LATE UPDATE: As of 1pm Melissa completed the Marathon...

Nina hung out at the Heidrick Ag History Center checking out their tractors and more. Following her love for tractors she headed over to the St. John's Craft Fair for the duration of the show even tasting tamales. Sure hope this lady is a part of the Tamale Throwdown December 23, 2013 with Julissa Ortiz.
Christianne was shopping local in Tracy all show giving us some great holiday gift ideas.
Amy got her craft side on with Michael's for 2 segments. Gave us a new company 3FlOZ for easy travel and she introduced us to a couple of girls sharing make up tips.
Cody got to celebrate the Auburn win with our Auburn friends Derrick & Jeremy as they talked about the fun in the Auburn win, possibility of team heading to Pasadena January 7, 2014 for the BCS Championship Game aka #BCSChampionshipCody.
Cody also introduce us to perhaps 2 of the Smartest, cutest, most talented kids I've ever seen. These two kids not only are in elementary school but take college courses and they can sing. The Abraham kids performed 2 songs but their rendition of Silent Night in 4 different languages was so beautiful if it was available on iTunes I would buy it in a heartbeat. Nice job you two.
Eleanor served up some juicy celebrity gossip and Tina Dished up yet another GREAT Dishin With Tina from High Hand in Loomis.
Now it is with great sorrow we say goodbye to another family member of Good Day Sacramento. Intern Heather Brent worked her last weekend show today as she readies for a new adventure on the Car Czar Show. So though we will miss her on Good Day Sacramento but we will love having her a part on The Car Czar Show every Sunday. With that said you can still see Heather do a GREAT interview with Oscar Isaac and T-Bone today on Mark at the Movies at 130/11pm. Plus more on Heather in Mark at the Movies Highlights as an extension of Today in the News later today.
