Cambi was with Rebuilding Together Sacramento and about 50 volunteers from the community and some of our sponsors as they came together to provide additional TLC to the center by adding new playground bark and paint to the play structure, adding planter boxes, mulch, new plants and drip system to the community garden, and converting a two-car garage into a dance studio/senior fitness room to include a HVAC system, flooring, dance bars, mirrors and clothing cubbies. Over 500 pumpkins will be floating in the warm water pool at the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool in Roseville. It's all about girl power as Nha was at The Sacramento Women’s Expo which is the area’s largest event designed specifically for women at Sacramento Convention Center today

Tina was with Becky Kraemer from The Maids of Folsom who is a 2x Breast Cancer Survivor and giving back. Tina was getting a preview of the Chef Vegan Challenge at Nourish Health Bar and Cafe.

Melissa was with Registered dietitian Julie Upton from Appetite for Health who had some of the best tips for a fun, not-so-sweet Halloween. Melissa had her Run Don't Walk Deal of the Day. Melissa introduced Brandon Dominguez and UsVsU a duo musical group focused on creating original, inspirational and unique hip hop music Today they performed the first single “HIDDEN Law Of At(TRACK)tion” off their debut album Not a Mixtape set to drop soon. Melissa was getting a preview of Tonight's Food Truck Cinema at Woodcreek Golf Course in Roseville where they are letting people hit the driving range, but don’t worry you non-golfers it’s not to golf!!! It’s to watch movies!!!! The golf course is hosting their final Food Truck Cinema of the season featuring food trucks, bands and more! The driving range will feature a huge theatre screen and will show the movie “Top Gun!” People can bring their blankets and chairs and watch the Tom Cruise classic under the stars. Melissa was getting with Rose Zahnn with Healthy Habits Fitness was in showing some products help you save time to cooking dinner now that the kids are back in their regular routines. They help create some of the best visual effects make-up around and today they joined to show how quickly you can transform a human into a zombie and today she transformed Kevin into a Zombie. Cody was with Heather Mendieta from Party City to show this year’s most popular and best costumes with a little costume catwalk. #Caturday Video of the Week. In 2013, a committed community of businesses and individuals launched the Mack Road Valley Hi Community Center in South Sacramento, as part of the Mack Road Partnership. The once empty lot now includes a community center that houses two basketball courts, a playground, playing fields, and numerous classes and a mobile health clinic for families and seniors in the neighborhood.
