Don’t be spooked by scary prices at the typical Halloween shops. Melissa was at Thrift Town with some cheap costumes that won’t creep out your wallet.



Ericka was at Broadway Coffee getting a preview of Oak Park’s First Friday brought to you in part by Unseen Heroes. It is an exciting community-oriented event that celebrates all that Oak Park has to offer and transforms the Broadway Corridor into an evening full of shopping, dining, art installations, a pop-up park, and festive community celebrations. It is a perfect place for dates, families, and friends.




Tina was getting a preview of the Sacramento’s Walk with Us to Cure Lupus & Move for a Cure event that is coming up on Saturday, October 15th. The Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR) is sponsoring this event, which will include a 5K Walk, Soul Line Dancing and Flexibility Exercises. Tina was with Noodles Company who stopped by to celebrate National Noodle Day. Tina was with Sacramento SPCA for this week's Pet of the Week. This week we met 3 Month Old Mickey and Aladdin Domestic Shorthair Male Cats. Mickey is Black and White, Aladdin is Black. Tina was with the Chef from the Oregon-based Deschutes Brewery who is heading back to Sacramento with its pop-up pub of epic proportions creating the ultimate craft beer block party benefiting the Runnin For Rhett Organization.




Julissa and Ken talked with Samantha Barnes Creator of Raddish Kids which is a culinary lesson, creative project, and mealtime solution all-in-one. In today's Good Day Mommy Moment Julissa was with Hindi Zeidman creator of The Ollie Swaddle learning to Swaddle



On Sept. 16th David Grabowski set out on his 40 day trek with his Glider while documenting his trip with at Tilt Shift Movie today Ken and Tina talked with him to check on his progress. Today Ken welcomed the Festival of Praise Tour to the Good Day Stage who are in town tonight and will be at the Memorial Auditorium featuring some of the BIGGEST names in Gospel music. Ken talked with author James Patterson Alexa Nisenson, and Griffin Gluck about Middle School Movie in theaters Friday

This week we met 3 Month Old Mickey and Aladdin Domestic Shorthair Male Cats. Mickey is Black and White, Aladdin is Black. Additional Information: Adoption fee: $85. Half off for a second kitty if adopted together Mickey and Aladdin came in as strays with their 5 siblings. We don’t know much about them except they are super purr machines! Today on Good Day Tina was with the Chef from the Oregon-based Deschutes Brewery who is heading back to Sacramento with its pop-up pub of epic proportions creating the ultimate craft beer block party benefiting the Runnin For Rhett Organization. This Saturday, they will set up their 400-foot custom bar will be pouring beers from 60+ taps, including taps from guest breweries Rubicon Brewing Company, Fieldwork Brewing Company and Crispin Cider. They go to different cities and choose a non-profit to help.
