Opening Statement:
I normally leave hard news comments  alone on weekends unless events warrant like yesterday's sad news of NFL Player Adrian Peterson losing his 2 year old son in a tragic event, I can't fully relate because I don't have kids of my own but I have nieces nephews and friends that have children I don't know if I could restrain myself not to want to beat the "S" out of this man. My heart is sad and I pray for the Peterson family during this difficult time for them. As a football fan I want Adrian to take as much time to heal but when he does I hope he scores 5 TD's in his sons honor just not against my Buffalo Bills.

High School Kickback game of the Week: Rio Linda defeats Bella Vista 41-7.

Pleasant Grove Eagles travel to Sheldon Huskies. Okay they play at same stadium but Sheldon is the home team this week.  It was a near
sellout crowd at the game full of fan fare and food trucks including the Squeeze Inn truck that will be appearing live on Good Day Sacramento Sunday. It was a quick score for PG on a 46 yard run by #5 just 17 seconds into the game. Sheldon drove the ball down and scored on a Merker TD pass but kick was blocked. On the kickoff PG scored on a 98 yard TD kick return. After a 3 and out for Sheldon PG
#5 rushed 3 times before finding pay dirt for the second time in the 1st quarter. After 1 PGH 21 SHS 6. PG picks up where they left off the first scoring quickly in the second. At this rate I'll be home by 930 (945 actual) Now you can add a 96 yard pass for a TD to PG making it 35-6 with over half the quarter to go before halftime. After a muffed punt recovery Sheldon drove down the field to score on a 5 yard pitch to #5 with a 2 point conversion making it 35-14. PG scores on a QB keeper making it 42-14. In last minute or so Sheldon has lost
both QB Merker (head/neck) and star WR Taron Johnson (leg/Knee) to injury. PG dominated the first half with a 42-14 lead. No word on the 2 injured players for Sheldon at this time, more at the start of the 3rd quarter if they play. Injury update for Sheldon both players came back for the 2nd half. A quick 3 and out saw #5 score once again for PG making it 49-14. Yes, this appears to be a trend for PG to score early. PG #5 runs again this time for 45 yards to the score.  This marks his 5th score of the night. In a rare carry #6 got into the end zone for PG. Yes this score is beyond ugly. After 3 PG 63-14. Merker hits Moore for a TD making it 63-21. That's a wrap PG dominated throughout #5 Broom swept away the Huskies with 5 rushing TD's.

Today's show was so fun to watch. Charity did a GREAT job in the farm throughout today. I loved seeing Amy & Mel show
off their dogs. So cute. Jen does amazing artwork and it is a special momentous of your pet.
I always love see Phoebe the DressFiend. I bet all those who sign up for her special event on November 9 will be a great time by all. Be sure to pick up your tickets ASAP before they are gone.
I love, love, love having Lori all weekend long. She is so professional & beautiful. How can anyone not love Neda? She is so awesome. Always enjoy having her full in. Cody is THE MAN! Cody might be the perfect host to anything he does. I am so glad he is the host the captain of the Good Day Sacramento Weekend ship. DL Hugley was dropped from the show. Did he No Show or was he rescheduled because of too much show. That's unknown but it's okay because the show was GREAT regardless. Until tomorrow have a GREAT Saturday.
