BART STRIKE OVER! The strike is over and soon trains will be running back to normal. The other story I'm following is the senseless act of violence at the Nevada school. Yet we have another teacher dead and the shooter too. If you want to be a coward and end your own life rather than trying to work through your illness, depression, or whatever then fine. But remember this. Killing yourself is hurting others much like the shooter did to the teacher. It does not help the situation by acting out. Get help. Surround yourself with family & friends that love you. If that can't help call me. I suffer from depression I know that life sucks and you feel like a failure to people but hurting others is not the answer. Hurting yourself is not the answer. I thank god everyday for my friends, family, and to turning me to Good Day Sacramento. Without all of them I would not be here. Without Cody Stark, Tina Macuha Mark S. Allen, Ashley Williams, Stefanie Cruz my BFF Christy and more including family I would not be here but they turned my life around. Monday Night Football:
Tonight's Preseason err Monday night football game saw the Vikings travel to New Jersey to take on the Giants. The Giants came into the game 0-6 and the Vikings 1-5. The Vikings having QB competition trotted recently released by Tampa Bay, QB Josh Freeman out to attempt a pass. Throwing the ball 52 times Josh completed 20. I'm pretty sure Ken Rudolph could've completed more. This was not the best played game and it shows these 2 teams are not very good but the Vikings looked awful more importantly Josh Freeman looked terrible. The final Giants 23 Vikings 7.
Final Thoughts:
Today started with mess at BART as the strike ended and many unknown questions. Finally though some issues remained the stations had to cover yet another auto vs. PED. This second one was truly an accident where the others are undetermined. Once the shows got to the content I look for Good Day Sacramento was way ahead. However a couple of things caught my eye on My58 and Fox40. On My58 they talked about the competition at Ten 22. Though this was covered on Good Day Sacramento yesterday it was still a neat story.
On Fox they featured a local couple who wrote a book about Macaroni & Cheese. Tell you what, I don't know how many different ways you can make it but it looked good.
As I said Good Day Sacramento got to the meat and Potato's portion of the show first by Mark going aboard the Hawaiian Chieftain. But back at the studio as they awaited the Michael Marks segment of the show Ken patiently waited to taste a new sun dried tomato ketchup but needed hash browns or fries. Yes they got them and liked the ketchup. Amy might have had the best live shot today. We all know Amy loves fashion as evident of her Carabba on the Catwalk on the weekend shows. However today we got a glimpse of that today when she visited a New Pop Up Shop. This make shift store was amazing. It has everything you can think of for fashion including a shop named Swagger. This place really caught my eye with her cool shoes. My BFF wears shoes like this so of course my first thought was Christmas is coming. Not only did she have cool shoes at Swagger but a great attitude and someone who knows her product as all of the shops and shop owners do. I hope all of you will check this shop out and if you love cool shoes Swagger is a MUST STOP SHOP!!
The other cool thing on Good Day Sacramento today was local viewer Fay celebrating her birthday and Good Day Sacramento helping to fulfill her bucket list. This young 73 year old had a great spirit and was so much fun.
