Week 7 of the NFL saw lots of surprises and injuries to QB's
As for any week in the NFL injuries are a part of the game and this week was no different. The Rams lost QB Sam Bradford to a knee injury for the season. Philadelphia may have lost QB Nick Foles to a concussion. Chicago saw QB Jay Cutler go down with a significant groin injury.
Dallas rolled the Eagles 17-3.
San Francisco handled Tennessee 31-17 behind Colin Kaepernick being the one 49er fans loved last year.
The NY Jets defeated the Patriots in OT 30-27.
The Bills traveled to Miami to bring Buffalo their first road win. Buffalo's defense picked off the Dolphins twice and recoverers late fumble to allow the game winning kick.
Peyton goes home, gets a tribute then treated badly by the Colts defense. The Broncos are no longer undefeated falling to the Indianapolis Colts 39-33.
Final Thoughts:
Today the Queen of the Good Day Sacramento returned from vacation. Yes Marianne marked her official return by sending off Producer Brian Jeffcoat to a new adventure. Brian was and is one of the finest producers in the business.
Couple of breaking stories broke from any kind of topics on My58. While they do cover news well it was Fox & Good Day Sacramento that provided the most content that I like for Today in the News. However Fox stayed with Obamacare too long for my liking they did talk about the preparation underway for the Downtown Ice Rink and the haunted castle in Ione. They also talked Cocktails for the holiday though we saw this on Good Day Sacramento Weekend yesterday Bethany did a fine job like Amy did on Good Day Sacramento.
Good Day Sacramento had the most content used and that was highlighted by Mark & Jason learning to tap and sending off Producer Brian in classic Good Day Sacramento style. I also enjoyed the book about History Decoded. Not a reader of books but I would love to have this pretty awesome book. Mark always does great live shots as he did today with costume ideas and fashion show. Amy always brings the house down on cooking or restaurant segments. She brought the chef from Café Bernardo to booty shake. Gotta love that. Loved todays cooking with Ju when she made dinner in a pumpkin. Not sure i would eat it but it was fun watching it all unfold. Finally how great is it or I should say was it to see Lori Wallace sitting at the desk in the 9am hour with Mark, Ju, & Laura.
