Opening:
Today's #GoodDay19 Flashback will come at the end of today's entry so that I can bring you my thoughts on the sudden passing of Actor/Comedian Robin Williams.



Remembering Robin Williams:
Robin Williams, Actor/Comedian died at 63 from an apparent suicide by hanging.  Robin made his first on screen appearance to television on an episode of Happy Days and Mork From Ork which then was a spin off from the character to a very popular show in the late 70's Early 80's. Robin returned to TV in 2013 in CBS Crazy Ones. Mark and Ken talked to him live on Good Day before it's premier.

The problem with people who have depression is  you just never really know. You may see someone and think they are okay, they may even smile back at you but be hurting inside. You may ask them are you okay? They may answer yes but be hurting inside. You just don't really ever know.




I know depression hurts I know how one might feel. I have been there. I tried to commit. I would like to think I will never get to that point again because I have a wonderful support team but not even I know if I will ever get to that point again. I thank god everyday for my friends and family. I know I say this all the time but if it wasn't for those who I call family at Good Day Sacramento, along with my best friends Christy, Mark, Cody, Tina, Courtney, Tessa, Don Kristin I would not be here today without them as well my other support team Shawn L Brown, Janet, Rubin, Angie, Julie, Jenn, Rachel, Heather, Big Al, Anna, Melissa, Nina. Today's Flashback to #GoodDay19 Good Day has had many faces over the 19 years but 2 things you have counted on since day one is the traffic Team. Tina Macuha, Courtney Dempsey have been there since day one giving us traffic.

Favorite Story of the Day: Remembering Robin Williams
Today's Favorite story should really be titled Story of the Day because this story is nowhere near being a favorite.
By now you know the death of Comedian / Actor Robin Williams has sent shockwaves throughout the world and today on Good Day Mark, Marianne, Courtney, Amy, Julissa, and Laura did a very good job sharing stories of favorite movies, TV, and of of course Mark sat down with him 28 times during his career to talk about films Robin was in. Jumanji, Popeye, Moscow on the Hudson, Patch Adams to name a few.



One of my favorite stories of the day was Laura talking about going to see the landmark that was shot in Colorado and then Robin was a male cheerleader for a Denver Broncos game during one game.



Amy and Julissa talked about the fans pouring to the Mrs. Doubtfire house in San Francisco as well as the flowers and crowds of people at his star on the Walk of Fame.



One of the toughest things to watch is the reaction Conan O'Brien, had after learning of his death during the taping of his show last night with Will Arnot. Here is that clip.

Please tune into to Mark at the Movies this weekend Mark and crew will have a very moving tribute to Robin I am sure.



Again this is not the favorite story of the day but it is the story of the day. We lost Robin far too soon. His acting was so wonderful even in one of his worst movies Toys was in my opinion.



Robin even did a Snickers commercial. I never really thought of Robin was an impressionist but he did it so well and his voices that he did always made you laught, John Wayne, Marlon Brando and more.

A Tuesday staple is Cnet Stopping by to talk about what's new in technology. Today on Good Day Sharon talked about the new AT&T High Speed Internet only available in Texas but plans to add more cities later.



Fire/Police Training:
Today Kristin was at Mather Field training in driving Fire Engines and Police Cars. She did better in the police car but she only hit 3 cones in the Fire Engine.



Tailgating Needs:
Jason was in Stockton at Home Depot checking out what's new for your tailgating needs and then finding out home improvement ideas for the fall.



Kermit:
Muppet Movie is out on DVD today and Mark and Marianne talked to Kermit. The sad thing is Mark did a better Kermit than Kermit did.



Blind Deadlifter:
Today on Good Day Courtney introduced us to Sam Dancer. Sam is blind but he doesn't let that stand in the way of him lifting deadweight.



Rire:
We've seen her awesome boutique online now she has a store front and Amy was there checking out complete with a Fashion Show.

With School started already and no birthday's appearing on the docket Cody should return tomorrow and the #GoodDay19 Flashback might have something to do with Cody.
