Box Office/Mark At The Movies #RemembersRobin:
With the Box Office Estimates in it's yet another bit of a shock  Teenage Ninja Turtles finished first once again with $28,400,000. Guardians of the Galaxy made an estimated $24,735,000 to finish #2 but in my opinion is a much better movie that the numbers are showing. This should be 3 weeks at number 1 not 2 weeks at #2 but I digress. Coming in 3rd Let's Be Cops making $17,700,000. In a bit of surprise Expendables 3 made $16,200,000 finishing 4th ahead of #5 finisher The Giver $12,760,000. I am hearing the movie is GREAT but Taylor Swift is turning off movie goers who are seeing it. 



This week's Mark at the Movies might be one of the BEST I've seen in the history of the show. Not because the movies reviewed this week would blow people away because based on the numbers that never happened, however the very moving tribute to the late Robin Williams moved me to tears.



What might be the first time in the history of the show the Opening Insult was dropped and Mark and crew opened with a nice round of applause for Robin Williams. Later Mark and crew would give Robin proper send off with clips of interviews Mark did over the years and as the credits ended they panned to an autographed picture on the wall.

Final Recap:
Favorite Story of the Day: HGTV Scott Brothers:
First I must be honest I don't know who the Scott Brothers are because I don't watch HGTV but that doesn't mean they cannot be my favorite story of day, because it was this story and all the attention given to these 2 twins that caught my eye. 



Yes as a man I can admit these 2 are pretty boys and it should with all the photos the Good Day Sacramento crew took as well as the attention they received from viewers in Hughson during Mark's Allentown. I think they both look like Harry Connick jr. but you be the judge.   



The 2 came to town to meet a Hughson couple who won a HGTV contest but first stopped at the station to give tips how to add value to your home with their chat they had with Marianne. 



After chatting with Marianne they headed to Hughson to meet up with Mark and Mark brought another fan, Beverly with him so she could meet them. 



So everyone was excited about the Scott Brothers today on Good Day Sacramento making this my favorite story of the day.  



Mel Vs Maloney Round 2:
Round 2 of the Mel Vs Maloney took place today. The first challenge was the 2 of them going head to head at archery. Today they Square Danced. In a tough competition the officials at the Square Dance Site issued a tie however in the Anchor vote Marianne and Ken voted one each for both so that left Courtney to decided the vote and she went with Jason as the winner. 



Allentown Hughson:
Mark was in Hughson, CA for Allentown as he gets set to introduce a contest winner to the HGTV Scott Brothers. 



Money Saving Tips:
Our Money Saving expert Jeff Bangerter was in studio today with more ways to save your money including what Melissa has always said.... Couponing. 



Brent Bourgeois:
Musician Brent Bourgeois and son Anthony performed on the Good Day Stage and you can get the new CD "Don't Look Back" on ITunes and Amazon. 



Dressing your dog:
Cambi was at A Purrfect Groomer checking out accessories for your dog. They have Hair Extensions, Monroes and more. 



Dirty Laundry:
Kristin was at Sac City Fire Station 5 learning how they watch their turnouts and how important it is to do so because of all the toxins that creep inside during fires. Then she checked out what they made for breakfast while she was waiting for the laundry to be done but she wasn't a fan of the waffles this morning. 



Romeo Whispers:
Amy was with a local inventor, Lamont who created a new underwear for men. Theses have an extra space in the man region for it to breath. The fashion show given was quite revealing.



Trending Topic:
Today's Trending Topics with Julissa she talked about a new term Now if you take a selfie with 3 or more it's called a Usie. JUST STOP IT!!!!

Fish out of Water:
In today's Daily Joe Marianne showed a clip of 50 Shades of Gray - Cat Edition but it was the dog video trying to save a fish that brought tears to my eyes. He tried so hard to get the fish back in water including splashing it on the fish. 



Manly Minute:
In a list of 25 things you should stop doing Ken gave 5 in his Manly Minute including taking selfies in the bathroom with a toilet. For the complete list see above.
