Final Recap:
Favorite Story of the Day: da Vinci
Today's Favorite Story on Good Day comes from Cody who was at Sutter Medical checking out the da Vinci XI Surgical Robot. This robot is being used to make surgeries easier not only for doctors but recovery time for patients takes less time.
The robot gives a 3D image of what the doctor is looking at, allows him to tie off knots and pick things up all with the use of the robot hands.
This AWESOME Piece of Modern Technology and the fact that Cody got to play with it makes this story my favorite story of the day.
Home:
Julissa started her morning off right checking out a High End home Foe Sale in Granite Bay. This home was beautiful. At one point Julissa was sitting by the pool and the only thing missing was a glass of wine.
New Edition:
Popular in the 80's this Boy Band saw many of it's members break off into very successful solo careers as well as other groups. Bel Biv Devoe, Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant all very popular in the 80's and 90's have reunited for a concert at Thunder Valley tonight and Courtney and Julissa will both be attending.
Today Courtney had 2 of her sorority sisters go head to head and finish the lyric.

Plastic Wine:
Today on Good Day E2 Winery is now bottling their wine in plastic reusable bottles. They say the taste is the same as a normal wine bottle.
Triple Treat:
Singer Jake Neilson performed 2 songs on the Good Day Stage. Jake and the Triple Threat sounded amazing. The best part of the story is Jake plays guitar while having Cerebral Palsy. This was a GREAT story and a really good band with an awesome sound.
Grand Prix
No more going to Italy. Just go to Modesto for the Grand Prix. Today on Good Day Lori was at the Modesto Grand Prix. This is fast paced heart pumping edge of your seat action around the streets of Modesto.

Just Between Friends:
The Just Between Friends Sale is taking place today and through Sunday at McCLellan Park. Today on Good Day Shannon from the event talked about all their GREAT deals they have.
James Rollins:
Today on Good Day one of our favorite authors, James Rollins was on talking about his new book "The Sixth Extinction" and a very special event taking place at Barnes and Nobles Now - August 16 with the Authors United for Veterans Book Drive. You can meet James at a Book Signing on August 12 at the Roseville Barnes and Noble.
Metal Head Ken:
Ever want to see how Weights are made? Ken showed us today on Good Day from Beast Metal. Plus Ken put them to the test with help from a body builder.
