It's Friday November 13th and on today's Show while Mark is checking out the new Star Wars Land at Disneyland our other members of Good Day will be Human Bowling. Yes Human Bowling. (Cody needs Bubblewrap STAT) In addition to Star Wars and Bowling Nha is heading to California Automobile Museum to get a preview of A Night with Lyn St. James in honor of Women in Racing. We check out Tiki Jungle in Turlock. One Volunteer at Placer County Food Bank has a challenge today Nha is heading there to learn more about “Beast of Burden Challenge.” Christian Brothers High School is going on Google Expedition Tour and so is Good Day. Sunday is National Bundt Cake Day and Tina is learning more. The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Elk Grove is hosting their holiday magic event. Proceeds from the sale of all items go back to the American Cancer Society Programs. Nha leads off our recap today where she first started of at California Automobile Museum where you can spend an evening with a racing legend and help the California Auto Museum at the same time Nha Nguyen talked with now retired Indy Car driver Lyn St. James to learn more about her “Incredible Journey” and how you can get involved in the cause tonight. Nha talked with Jess Kurti who is on a mission to raise awareness of our nation’s food banks and their fight against hunger and poverty. Her goal is to volunteer at every food bank in the Feeding America network nationwide and that’s not all. “Beast of Burden Challenge.”
Roqui spent the morning in Walnut Creek where she was checking out Sunrise Bistro in Walnut Creek. Roqui was at Nordstrom in Walnut Creek getting a preview of the the Fall Beauty Trend Show taking place tomorrow starting at 8am. Julissa was at Sparrow Five where they are getting into the holiday spirit! Decorations for one of the store windows are inspired by A Christmas Story by decorating their Window Front with items inspired by the movie. You can even take a photo of the famous pole with your tongue stuck on it.
Courtney was at The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Elk Grove who is hosting their holiday magic event. Proceeds from the sale of all items go back to the American Cancer Society Programs.
Tina Macuha was in the Good Day Sacramento Kitchen learning about Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. The bundt cake’s popularity is rising and it this Sunday (11/15) just happens to be National Bundt Day!
Ken and Julissa talked with a local artist is making a name for himself in the landscaping business with his creative, larger-than-life tiki carvings! Now you can live the island lifestyle while still being landlocked in the central valley.
