Martian Movie Ends October on Top / @Markatthemovies Episode 319 Highlights
Box Office Report:
It's the first day of November and we turned the clocks back but the Box Office is turning more than that at this week's new movies Burnt and Our Brand Is Crisis However holdovers The Martian win the Box Office with $11,400,000 followed by Goosebumps with $10,210,000 and Bridge Of Spies with $8,060,000 who continue to hold the top 3 spots. Rounding out the top 5 this weekend Hotel Transylvania 2 with $5,830,000 and the aforementioned Burnt with $5,038,000. Our Brand is coming in a very disappointing 8th while other holdover from last week Steve Jobs continues to slip.

With The Martian closing out October and opening November atop the charts Mark called in reinforcements to talk about it. The Snark Monkey himself Larry Morgan joined to talk about the movie in the Retro Reel Review.
Mark then joined his friends at the table to that he along with Lonni, Brian, Kelly, Short-E and Dionna could talk about 3 new movies and 2 new to DVD.
First movie talked about Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse everyone seem to enjoy this movie and Brian compared it to Super Bad while Kelly enjoyed the strippers.
The next movie talked about was Brooklyn. Though this movie doesn't open until Wednesday it's already getting Oscar Buzz. Everyone thinks that and Mark is afraid of losing his man card for liking it so much but he has nothing to worry about. He lost it a long time ago.
The final new movie this week was Our Brand is Crisis and though it has a poor box office showing everyone thinks it's a must see. Lonni added the roll that Sandra plays was for a man but rewritten for her after she impressed so much.
New to DVD Gift and Pixels Rent them if you don't buy them
Next Week we can look forward to Peanuts Movie and Bond... James Bond. Until then I will see you at the movies
