Having Fun with Cody Melissa & Crew... Today in the News Saturday Edition 5/23/2015



Today's Recap:
It's Saturday, Memorial Day Weekend. With a lot of fun activities taking place today the Good Day crews consisting of Cody, Melissa, Lori, Heather, Nha, and Cambi have you covered. Some of today's highlights are Melissa's Coupon Corner, Gabe from Travelzoo has some getaway ideas. Mike on the Mic is back to talk about tonight's River Cats game Princesses and Pirates. Cambi is previewing Mr. Black Sacaramento. Sac Music Fest is taking place and we get to hear some music from that plus you may remember Tahj Mowry from his days on Full House, now he's a recording artist and he will be performing on the Good Day stage. Heather is getting tips on Motorcycle riding and will tell how you can take your riding skills to the next level. Plus Heather checks out the Stockton Miniature Show. Nha is checking out the new Wellness Center High Mountain. Fashion Blogger Phoebe aka Dress Fiend is back and will show off some Memorial Day looks for under $30. Cambi:
Proving once again why I love Cambi she started her day at Sac Music Fest talking to local Country star Tyler Rich. Cambi asked the hard hitting questions like are you single. Taking place tonight is Mr. Black Sacramento at Burbank High School. Cambi was getting a preview and meeting the contestants. This is such a great event for the Black Community putting out a positive message. Cambi was checking out a special Car show where money raised goes back to education. Cambi was at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt where they are opening a Folsom location and to celebrate FREE Yogurt today 



Nha:
Nha started her day in Folsom checking out the Historic Folsom Certified Farmers Market off Sutter Street which is going into its 3rd year. High Mountain Well Being Center is new and offers a large amount of activities from Yoga to Acupuncture and everything in between. Nha was in Sacramento checking out the International Kids Festival. 
 


Heather:
Heather started her day with some Gluten Free desserts from Macaronage Macarons in Stockton where they have classes available as well as tasty treats. Heather then went to the 4th Annual Stockton Miniature Show where you can find everything mini. Want to learn to ride a bike like a pro? Heather was in stockton getting tips from Superbike Coach from Stockton 99.



Cody/Melissa:
Cody talked with the amazing Mike Osborn from Sacramento River Cats talking about Princesses and Pirates night at the game tonight. Are you sounding silly when it comes to talking sports? Well now you don't have to with Cody giving you Just Enough Sports So you Don't Sound Silly. Melissa talked about the new rewards program at Rite Aid called Plenti in her Coupon Corner Part 1. Cody and Melissa talked with Tahj Mowry before he took the Good Day Stage. Melissa had a sweet deal on SunScreen at Target in Coupon Corner Part 2 Deals of the Week. It's National Turtle Day so to celebrate Neil the Tortoise was in studio. Telfie hour with Tahj Mowry kicked off the 10am hour with the photos below. Cody was with Phoebe the Dress Fiend with Fashion on the cheap for Summer.  Cody talked with A local engineering firm Miyamoto International Engineering helping Nepal rise again after its devastating earthquake. Cody was also getting burger tips from Michelle from Lifetime Athletic who just opened in Roseville about 2 weeks ago



Lori:
Lori had her Summer and BBQ Pinterest Ideas of the Week. Lori had your Hot Headlines. 



Quick Thought:
It was another great day and fun to be a part of it. Cambi had everyone laughing with Tyler Rich as she asked the tough questions including if he was single and would like to date Producer Bailee. Cody and Melissa had their fill of fun with Tajh Loved Cambi covering Mr. Black Sacramento to provided a positive light and Neil the Tortise coming in for a visit was cool too. Heather did a great job as always as did Nha. Nha had me laughing from the Kids Fest and Heather always does great around stories with motorcycles.
