Cambi was in Sacramento at an event to learn to refuel your fun. While Camping you cannot have campfires due to drought so this program shows you how to refuel your fun. Cambi was at Capitol Park for the Annual Reading of the Names remembering some 5000 Californianas lost during the Vietnam War. Cambi then teamed up with Alex the Yelp Guy checking out another amazing spot for Facials Shanti Face and Body Lounge

Heather was in Lodi for a New and Again Estate sale where EVERYTHING MUST GO!!! Prices are so low they are giving it away. No really Prices as low as $1. It's the 4th Sunday in May and that means Lodi's Food Truck Mania kicks off. Heather was with Costa's Finest Kettle Corn who now offers Funnel Cake. The event kicks off at 5pm and the first 2 to come to the truck tonight get a Funnel Cake FREE!!! Heather needed some coffee after that awesome funnel cake so she headed to Lodi's new coffee shop only to discover School Ground Coffee sells more than coffee like Gelato. One of the most beautiful things is the Traveling Not Forgotten Wall for Vietnam Vets. Heather was in Manteca checking out this very special wall.
Morgan:
Morgan started her day in Roseville at Pet Food Express for Save a Kitten Month. You can foster, adopt or donate items. Sure the Indianapolis 500 and Coca Cola 600 are today but they don't come close to comparing the ALL Alaskan Pig Races at Sac County Fair. From Kittens to Pigs to Snakes Morgan was in Carmichael checking out a snake exhibit. Morgan was checking out Le Bella Vita Medi Spa where you can get skin care and hair care.
Cody/Melissa:
Cody talked with fellow #CodyFlashMob member Paul Francois was in studio to talk about his new book "The Gatherer" Cody was then with a real cowboy Lloyd Cooper who needs a new home for his Old Town Tumbleweed Show. Great for birthday parties and fun events. Lloyd needs your help. Melissa with with Lindsay who created a business called Three Little Q's. Cody was with George Langley who is not only an author but 102. How awesome is that. Tired of the hangover? Try Play Mode Beverage as Melissa showed today on Good Day.

Lori had her Hot Headlines including news on Sailor Moon Frye.
Quick Thought:
During one of Cambi's live shots for Reading of the Names the Vet she talked with reminded us all that Freedom is Free and some GREAT men and women died for our freedom whether it be WWI WWII Korea Vietnam Dessert Storm Iraqi Freedom so many braved the elements to keep us free. So while we celebrate with car sales, BBQ's a Day off from work take time and remember those who lost a loved one so that we could enjoy those things. Heather also got that same reminder while visiting the Vietnam Wall that so many amazing men never came home and the ones who did didn't get a very warm reception. They are now but it's important to see a Vet and just shake their hands and say thank you.
Good Day had it's share of fun as well. First though we missed her (Nha enjoyed the day off) Morgan was back for the first time in months and she went from kittens, to pigs, to snakes to Spa Treatment. Cambi also visited with Alex the Yelp Guy while he got a facial at a top spot and Heather got Kettle Corn, Funnel Cake and Coffee and Gelato and she she shopped at an Estate Sale. Cody was with Lloyd Cooper who needs a new home for his Western Show, George Langley who at 102 wrote one book and is writing a second. I love the idea from Three Little Q's that Melissa showed. and it's always great to see The Pant Lady, finding out Gossip from Eleanor and of course Dishin With Tina.

Cody: 102 Year Old Writes Book
Who’s says it’s never too late to write a book? Today on Good Day Cody was joined by George Langley, who at 102 years old just published his first book titled “Slaterland.” “Slaterland” is a story about Wayne Slater who put a bid on an island became the owner of the island. He had just retired and figured why not. He then purchases an old naval boat to be able to get to his island. The story follows Wayne Slater through the events of several years of learning and discovery. George has had no training in writing, but with the help of his friends and caretakers his book was published! George has said his wish is to sell enough books to send all his caregivers to Hawaii. Today he joins us in studio to talk about his huge accomplishment!

Morgan: Save a Kitten Month
Today on Good Day Morgan was at Pet Food Express for Save A Kitten Month. There is something called “kitten season” that starts in the spring and lasts through summer. It’s when cats go into heat (when the weather warms up), so this is a critical time for shelters and rescues. They get inundated with newborn kittens (many that are feral — where people find them and turn them in), and they need the public’s help.

Heather: Lodi Estate Sale
Today on Good Day Heather was at one estate sale that is the final phase of a three week clean out of this family estate. This weekend features selling off the final contents of the home including clothing, and over 20 boxes of costume jewelry. All of the furniture is also being sold for $10 a piece at a first come first served basis! There are also lots of knick knacks, china, crystal and a whole plethora of collectibles from the 1960’s. Heather checking out all the items up for sale!

Morgan: Sac County Fair
Today Good Day Morgan is back and was at the Sac County Fair for another day of fun! But this time we aren’t focusing on food! We’re sending Morgan to the races… well the All-Alaskan Racing Pig races! The pig races start with each team consisting of 8 porcine racing machines. Racing four at a time, they typically hit top speeds of over 15 miles per hour. They race flat track and high hurdles during every show. Each show concludes with a championship round and four volunteer rooting section leaders cheering their favorite!

Cody: 102 Year Old Writes Book
Who’s says it’s never too late to write a book? Today on Good Day Cody was joined by George Langley, who at 102 years old just published his first book titled “Slaterland.” “Slaterland” is a story about Wayne Slater who put a bid on an island became the owner of the island. He had just retired and figured why not. He then purchases an old naval boat to be able to get to his island. The story follows Wayne Slater through the events of several years of learning and discovery. George has had no training in writing, but with the help of his friends and caretakers his book was published! George has said his wish is to sell enough books to send all his caregivers to Hawaii. Today he joins us in studio to talk about his huge accomplishment!

Morgan: Save a Kitten Month
Today on Good Day Morgan was at Pet Food Express for Save A Kitten Month. There is something called “kitten season” that starts in the spring and lasts through summer. It’s when cats go into heat (when the weather warms up), so this is a critical time for shelters and rescues. Heather: Lodi Estate Sale
Today on Good Day Heather was at one estate sale that is the final phase of a three week clean out of this family estate. This weekend features selling off the final contents of the home including clothing, and over 20 boxes of costume jewelry. All of the furniture is also being sold for $10 a piece at a first come first served basis! There are also lots of knick knacks, china, crystal and a whole plethora of collectibles from the 1960’s. Morgan: Sac County Fair
Today Good Day Morgan is back and was at the Sac County Fair for another day of fun! But this time we aren’t focusing on food! We’re sending Morgan to the races… well the All-Alaskan Racing Pig races! The pig races start with each team consisting of 8 porcine racing machines. Racing four at a time, they typically hit top speeds of over 15 miles per hour. They race flat track and high hurdles during every show. Each show concludes with a championship round and four volunteer rooting section leaders cheering their favorite!
