Front Street Volunteers Part 2
Kristin continued from Front Street talking about the Volunteer program and they named 2 puppies looking for a home. Named Bean and Sprout.

In today's show we are on the fast track of Spring with the temps and soon to be Summer  and one thing to look forward to each Spring for the last couple of years is Girls on the Grid where Sacramento's Most Eligible encourage your votes coming together for a party at Pour House April 2nd Co hosted by Cambi Brown. Today Cambi previewed the event and encouraged all to vote for the lucky bachelors and bachelorettes. Cambi first introduced us to them then played show and tell. Once Cambi was done with that she headed to Old Sugar Mill for a Fashion Show of Spring Wear with 2 Sisters Boutique. Cambi looked beautiful. 



Kristin kept the Puppy Theme going this week checking out a Volunteer Program at Front Street Shelter where volunteers give baths, groom, and clerical to name a few jobs. She also helped named 2 puppies after a Facebook vote



Nha checked out the Corpse Flower at Sac State with only days if not 1 day remaining to view it. She then checked out Yolo Brewing Company where you can take a photo of your visit, watch how the beer is made and do other fun activities around it. 



The Sammies are tomorrow night and Element Brass played 2 songs and even got Eleanor up and dancing. 



Mark hit the streets as his sister, Marianne and Ken talked Selfies and more and Courtney was with an amazing woman Ice Trekking the North Pole plus it is Wednesday and Tina was Dishin at Harry's Cafe with his awesome pancakes.

Ken: The Sammies
It’s that time of year again: Today on Good Day Ken talked about The Sammies.  The area’s biggest music award show is being held on March 26th at Ace of Spades. One of the local bands nominated this year: The Element Brass Band played on the Good Day Stage. They’re nominated in the “Outstanding Jazz Ensemble” category. They are eight members strong, with just drums and horns.
