Each year, the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program spotlights Bariatric patients as they model fashions for business, leisure and formal occasions.
This year’s event features men and women who have lost weight in the months following their gastric bypass, vertical sleeve gastrectomy or laparoscopic band operations. Models will share brief personal stories and photos from their battles with extreme weight and then walk the runway in the latest fashions from local clothing stores.
Proceeds benefit the UC Davis Bariatric Surgery Program.

A New York congressman is defending his actions after he physically threatened a reporter at the Capitol yesterday night. The incident was all caught on video. Rep. Today Cody was back and kicked off Show and tell in style with the Jurrasic Park movie prop. The 5am hour we saw the Show us your topic of Baby Selfies kick off and Marianne had your Daily list for Fashion Friends. The #Questionoftheday was asked what your best friend is doing and the 5am Club Member was introduced. To fill out the hour Mark had News of the Weird.
6am:
In this hour Julissa was checking out a new workout business, U Barre in East Sacramento that really appears to give you a full body workout with all that you incorporate in it. Amy was checking out a Mercedes Benz up for auction at Manteca Ford that was once owned my Muhammad Ali and fashion expert Tim Gunn talked about his new show Under the Gunn.
7am:
By now the show is well underway and still going strong. Amy continued from Manteca Ford checking out Muhammad Ali's car up for auction with a 23K Gold clock in the trunk. Mark showed Vin Diesel dancing to Katy Perry and Beyonce. Mark also introduced us to the Donut Hole Gang in West Sacramento and Julissa previewed the Princess and me Dance taking place in February. Teens Tunes today had a weather theme and the #9amtopic was introduced talking about the Pope on Rolling Stone Magazine.
8am:
In the 8am hour Mark continued with the Donut Hole Gang. I loved these guys. I hope they become a part of the show from time to time. Cambi was at her old Middle School in Elk Grove with a preview of Teens for Jeans at Harriet Eddy Middle School. Amy was getting her Cajon fix at French 25 in Stockton as they prepare for Mardi Gras and Ken and Marianne talked Puppy Bowl.
9am:
In this final hour of the show today Julissa and Laura with help from Mark and Tina guided us through the #9amtopic and Today was also Dishin With Tina day and Today Bravo's was featured from Elk Grove. Cambi was learning Spanish from Casa De Espanol while Courtney was checking out a dance studio in Roseville that works with Special Needs kids... From Courtney ".The most amazing class...ACCESS! FREE dance class for special needs children at Northern California Dance Conservatory" Mark chatted with 2 girls who won the chance to meet the cast of Awkward Moment at the Facebook campus a couple of weeks ago. and due to illness Ken had to leave early making for one of the funniest moments for Manly Minute with Mark S. Allen filling in. The final question of the day was What is your favorite musical?
Final Thoughts:
The shows today had a lot of food, and guests. They also featured working out and dancing with kids. My favorite story on My58 was the interview with Motley Crue. It is truly an end of an era.
Fox40 had a lot of food related stories and it was sure to leave you hungry or full from watching it.
Good Day Sacramento was amazing today as always. I loved Cody's show and tell but loved the fact he was back and appeared to look a lot better since the last time we saw him on Sunday as he exited stage left at 930am. I loved all the dance parties for kids and the given back for kids in need. Dishin with Tina is always a fun time and today's Manly Minute was so funny with Mark S. Allen filling in. Amy showing us the Muhammad Ali car was.... WOW!!! That was beautiful. and who doesn't love Julissa working out and Cambi learning Spanish.
All in all the 3 shows did well today and it is now on to tomorrow. So what is ahead for Thursday.....

Today Cody was back and kicked off Show and tell in style with the Jurrasic Park movie prop. The 5am hour we saw the Show us your topic of Baby Selfies kick off and Marianne had your Daily list for Fashion Friends. The #Questionoftheday was asked what your best friend is doing and the 5am Club Member was introduced. To fill out the hour Mark had News of the Weird.
6am:
In this hour Julissa was checking out a new workout business, U Barre in East Sacramento that really appears to give you a full body workout with all that you incorporate in it. Amy was checking out a Mercedes Benz up for auction at Manteca Ford that was once owned my Muhammad Ali and fashion expert Tim Gunn talked about his new show Under the Gunn.
7am:
By now the show is well underway and still going strong. Amy continued from Manteca Ford checking out Muhammad Ali's car up for auction with a 23K Gold clock in the trunk. Mark showed Vin Diesel dancing to Katy Perry and Beyonce. Mark also introduced us to the Donut Hole Gang in West Sacramento and Julissa previewed the Princess and me Dance taking place in February. Teens Tunes today had a weather theme and the #9amtopic was introduced talking about the Pope on Rolling Stone Magazine.
8am:
In the 8am hour Mark continued with the Donut Hole Gang. I loved these guys. I hope they become a part of the show from time to time. Cambi was at her old Middle School in Elk Grove with a preview of Teens for Jeans at Harriet Eddy Middle School. Amy was getting her Cajon fix at French 25 in Stockton as they prepare for Mardi Gras and Ken and Marianne talked Puppy Bowl.
9am:
In this final hour of the show today Julissa and Laura with help from Mark and Tina guided us through the #9amtopic and Today was also Dishin With Tina day and Today Bravo's was featured from Elk Grove. Cambi was learning Spanish from Casa De Espanol while Courtney was checking out a dance studio in Roseville that works with Special Needs kids... From Courtney ".The most amazing class...ACCESS! FREE dance class for special needs children at Northern California Dance Conservatory" Mark chatted with 2 girls who won the chance to meet the cast of Awkward Moment at the Facebook campus a couple of weeks ago. and due to illness Ken had to leave early making for one of the funniest moments for Manly Minute with Mark S. Allen filling in. The final question of the day was What is your favorite musical?
Final Thoughts:
The shows today had a lot of food, and guests. They also featured working out and dancing with kids. My favorite story on My58 was the interview with Motley Crue. It is truly an end of an era.
Fox40 had a lot of food related stories and it was sure to leave you hungry or full from watching it.
Good Day Sacramento was amazing today as always. I loved Cody's show and tell but loved the fact he was back and appeared to look a lot better since the last time we saw him on Sunday as he exited stage left at 930am. I loved all the dance parties for kids and the given back for kids in need. Dishin with Tina is always a fun time and today's Manly Minute was so funny with Mark S. Allen filling in. Amy showing us the Muhammad Ali car was.... WOW!!! That was beautiful. and who doesn't love Julissa working out and Cambi learning Spanish.
All in all the 3 shows did well today and it is now on to tomorrow. So what is ahead for Thursday.....
