Final Thoughts:
This week in the Box Office Ride Along cruised in the top spot once again. This is really not a shocked based on the reviews it has gotten. However the big shock is the #6 spot this week, but more on that in a moment. Rounding out the top 5 this week 2. Lone Survivor, 3. The Nut Job, 4. Frozen and 5. Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit. The one main movie to open this week, I Frankenstein finished at a disappointing 6th spot. I didn't think this would finish number 1 but I did think top 5. So now you know how the Box Office finished on to this weeks Mark at the Movies.....

The show this week was one of the BEST shows in the history of Mark at the Movies. This week was a light week for movies so Mark and crew discussed halfway point of the movie awards handed out leading up to the Oscars in March. However it was newcomer Rachel Greninger hosting that made this weeks show so much better. Rachel has been contributing for several months as one of the guests in studio and behind the scenes but never in the a Co-hosting role. Rachel was a natural. She was prepared, she would lead into Segway's on time and shared her knowledge of the films talked about this week. I said this years ago about Ashley Williams when Mark at the Movies debuted and I will say it again. In 3-4 years Rachel will be making name for herself on Red Carpets everywhere. But with her knowledge and her beautiful looks it could be a lot sooner.

This week we also met a new Skype Guest. Greg Russell from Movie Show Plus joined via Skype to talk about Ride Along. I though he summed up the movie pretty well that it is just an escape and for 2 hours you can laugh. More on Greg in the Guest section.

Looking ahead to next week I will be interested in seeing who steps in with Mark as Co-host. I would be shocked if Rachel was not the choice but that decision will be made by Mark and whomever it is will be the right decision. So until then I will see you at the movies.

Guests:
Greg Russell, Movie Show Plus. Greg has been a television and radio personality in Detroit, Michigan for over 25 years  greg russell
