Opening Statement:
Welcome to Award Season. Yes, it's time to take our our party dress or suit and tie because Hollywood is celebrating itself. One award show has already dropped and that was last night with Peoples Choice Awards. I have 1  question.... Don't you need to be able to sing in your category when you win for Pop Artist of the Year? Sorry, I like hearing Brittney songs but she doesn't sing them live and I feel like I'm being ripped off. If you are paid to sing then do that or don't charge to hear you sing because I don't really want to go to a concert and pay to see someone move their mouth and nothing comes out. If you want to see a person sing listen to Ken Rudolph and the Tipsy Hustlers. Sorry I am now off my soap box. One award show I do like is the Critics Choice Awards. This award show features Mark S. Today we met some amazing people. Archery at Sportsmans Expo. Brother and Sister who created a Children's series and a magician who blew my mind. Here is a recap of the 3 shows...

My58:
I wish they talked about more fun topics like Emeril's Chicken  Soup. Which looked really good. Brian Hickey was checking out Bows at the California Sportsman Expo at Cal Expo all weekend long. Fandango talked upcoming Golden Globe Movie nominees.

Fox40:
This week's Pet of the week this week was a 2 for 1. I really hope these two puppies get adopted together to a good home. Chad's world was an interesting segment but I felt cheated by Paul Robins and either his lack of preparation or what but I was confused about the segment. He kept stepping over them with questions or comments before or during they could answer. Just didn't care for the interview. I included the information of what this series is about and I wouldn't mind if another station has them on as a guest to do it justice. Zohreen was at the Budget Presser covering it in the 9am hour.

Good Day Sacramento:
Today on Show and Tell Cody talked about job openings for Major League Baseball and Courtney talked about the movie Bully.
The 5am hour had News of Weird with Mark S. Allen, #Questionoftheday, 5am Club Member, and Marianne's Daily List.Also today's Show us your... Throwback Thursday photos started to be shown.

In the 6am hour on Good Day Sacramento Julissa had this weeks app of the week that will not turn off until it matches how you set it up. For example if you use a photo you must recreate the photo for it to turn off. Doug the Car Czar was talking what/why you are shocked getting in/out of car. Marianne had Daily Joe. Camera Guy Scott Z checked out a local Donut shop and instead of eating it with his hand he used a utensil.
The 7am hour was a fun hour. Magician Kevin Warren did a couple of his tricks and prepared everyone for his final one with help from Twitter in the 8am hour. Courtney previewed Fashion Week with a Casting call coming up this week. Mark and Ken talked to Garrett Hedlund about his new movie Inside Llewyn Davis. Doug the Car Czar was back talking car batteries and the Denver Bronco / San Diego Charger heats debate heats up with Jason turning dirty publishing photos of Laura in Charger gear.
In the GREAT 8  Kevin was back performing another trick invoving fans of the show including myself. Doug answered viewers questions. Cambi talked nutrition and Marianne talked to Harry Chandler about his traffic art and the #9amtopic is was introduced as well as Teen's Tunes with the theme of 70's today.
The 9am hour guided by Julissa and Laura featuring Tina and Mark had a final performance from Kevin Warren, Gina from ThriftTown showed us yet another DIY project for making flower arrangements. Courtney was checking out healthy cocktails while Cambi was going neon art on us. Rudy's Hideaway showed off a rare blue lobster on display and will not use it for dinner. Ken had an interesting Manly Minute and just when you thought he would have his man card suspended he brought back talking about the man who created Farrah Faucets Charlies Angel hair. Nice job Ken.

What Did Learn:
My 58 centered more about the budget today so we learned schools will be getting help.

The other things learned today was how did Kevin pre-guess my number with the other 3 items? Hmmm Still don't know but have an idea. Cody was back but still appeared to be under the weather despite doing the weather.

Quick Thoughts:
The shows did pretty well  today but Chad's World segment really upset me with Paul on Fox 40 today. Good Day won my ratings followed by Fox and My58. I love how the viewers of Good Day Sacramento respond during segments and I am so glad they like if not love the Dishin With Tina segments enough to sell out the food they offer.
