Opening Statement:
One of the favorite things to do is to be a part of Cody Stark's Twitter events. What started with Under The Doom on CBS over the late Spring/Early Summer led us to Tweeting the Auburn Tigers Football games starting with #IronBowlCody for 3 games including #BCSCody for the Championship game this past Monday we now have our next Twitter event. However this event might be our toughest I am committed to Cody for all he does for me. #TapeDelayCody officially kicks off at 12pm PST I believe the People of Cody can do this my biggest worry with all of the social media.

Lori/Cody: Lone Survivor Dad joins via Skype.
Mark Wahlberg’s newest film “Lone Survivor” hit theaters this weekend and is expected to become a box office success. D.J. was just 24 years old when he was killed, and served as a Navy SEAL for four years. Good Day Sacramento spoke to D.J.’s father, who spent much time on the film’s set, as well as time with actor Emile Hirsch, who portrays his son.

To kick the show off Amy was still not back from illness. Cody shows off his contraption for the final hour of the show that was first introduced by How I met your Mother. This picture is worth 5000 words.

In the 7am hour
Eleanor was dishin on the Hollywood Gossip while Melissa was playing Thumb War to decide who wins today's games. NINA was back and better than ever checking out the Wedding Expo with her 9 fingers... She had a bad cut on one that was heavily bandaged. Doug The Car Czar was giving us a sneak peak of the Detroit Auto Show and Cambi was our shopping guide at the Sac Antique Faire looking for items viewers wrote in looking for.

On to the GREAT 8. Nina was still at the Wedding Expo and Cambi was still looking for deals at Sac Antique. Tina was Dishin with Tina at  Yo Zee's American and Jamaican Cuisine Mel was at 7 Sisters Italiano in North Highlands that specializing in Gluten Free Bread. Jason is looking for Truck Tracker ideas for next weekend and talks more smack about Laura Skirde and the Broncos. No internet connection prevents Laura from Joining in. My guess is Jason pulled the plug. (Seriously: Whoever wins today I want them to beat New England next week) Cody was checking out some GREAT BBQ from Gameday Food Truck.

The 9am hour kicked off with a bang. Melissa continued from 7 Sisters learning more about their menu. Cambi was hanging out with Nicholas the Good Day Sacramento Resident kid chef from his home making healthy pancakes,  Lori introduced us to Khyle Smith a young 8 year old singer. The 9am hour also featured Doug The Car Czar once again from Detroit Auto Show. Mark S. Allen made a special guest appearance talking about the Golden Globes Movie portions. GameDay Grill was back with more great food.  and Nina was taken down and taken down hard by a K-9 dog at the Sportsman Expo as part of a demonstration.

The CHALLENGE STARTS NOW!!!!! As several people jump on board to take the #TapeDelayCody Challenge others cannot so Cody has to dawn the Sensory Deprivator 5000 for the final hour including when he talked to Corky the Bat lady and how much Bats help our environment though they are scary looking and dangerous. While Cody was with Bats Melissa was at a 49er party not able to watch the game because she id taking the #tapedelayCody challenge. Laura phoned in as Jason turns to dirty pool making stuff up about Peyton Manning to intimidate her. Cambi was finishing the Recipes from home and Khyle performed another song

Quick Thought:
Today and this weekend had some great segments on Good Day Weekend. I do hope Amy feels Better soon. I did enjoy this weekend with Melissa and Cody Saturday and Lori and Cody today. As I write this I am still not watching the game. I want to ENCOURAGE everyone to see Lone Survivor. This movie looks as amazing as the actual story itself. Look for my full report on this movie and Mark at the Movies later today in Mark at the Movies Highlights Episode 224. The story of Danny Dietz is just as amazing of the one who survived. Marcus Luttrell ALL OF THESE SEAL MEMBERS ARE HEROES! Until then we now hand the controls of Good Day Sacramento back over to Ken and Marianne for the Week. BE PREPARED for Seattle overload and most likely SF 49ers. Lets hope we can add in Denver Bronco overload because San Diego will have no chance to beat the Patriots next week.
