Final Thoughts:
In a shocking end to the Box Office weekend Ride Along with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart clearly beat out Lone Survivor that did finish with a nice second place finished but I am shocked at that. Perhaps the Mark S. Allen slap from Kevin Hart what the cause of this or people wanted to laugh instead of cry. Rounding out the top 5 this week are. The Nut Job, Jack Ryan, and Frozen. Next week appears to be a light week so it will be interesting to see if Lone Survivor takes back the top spot or if Ride Along holds onto it. My guess Lone Survivor jumps back up.
Before getting to this weeks show I have one programming note. As you might remember the time recently changed for the CW Network from 130 and 11pm to just the 1130pm showing.... Good News.. This week brought back a second showing to CW. The new showing is 430am Saturday. So now we have 9/6am on Reelz Channel, 430am Saturday and 11pm Sunday on CW. Now on to this weeks show....
The show itself was good. I thought this weeks Skype Guest was one of the Best they've had not in the Business. I enjoyed Gabe's insight on Lone Survivor a lot. This weeks opening insult from Kevin Hart and Ice Cube is by far one of my favorites. I dare say it is in the top 5 of opening insults. I also liked Mark's interviews this week and the behind the scenes set up for the Kevin Hart slap.
I love Mark S. Allen like a brother and this show for what it brings each week and also for the opportunities it and Mark have given me so when I say that I was somewhat disappointed in this weeks show I by no means taking a shot at Mark or the show. I felt like the show was missing the chemistry it normally has. It was missing something and it left me a little disappointed but I know Mark and I know Mark will rectify that next week. It was still good but it was missing something. I really enjoy having Rachel, Heather, Big Al, Mike and Brittany a part of it but like I said it was missing something this week.
All in All it was a great 30 minute escape for me and I appreciate everyone at Mark at the Movies as well as Mark. So with that said I will see you at the movies....
