Final Thoughts:
Box office winner this week was as I thought it would be with Lone Survivor taking the top spot. This Epic film of the story behind Seal Team 10 that gave the ultimate sacrifice losing all its member but 1, Marcus Luttrell. Every Seal has a story on that day and Peter Berg did an outstanding job directing and the families of the fallen along with Marcus did an outstanding job consulting on set to make sure this story was told as accurate as possible.
Rounding out the top 5 at the Box Office Frozen fell to #2, The Wolf of Wall Street took 3rd and Legends of Hercules and American Hustle round out the top 5 in a virtual tie for 4th and 5th.
On the show this week the Co-host rotation continues. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about this but I have started to enjoy it. I think it's no secret I have my favorites but I think all the Co-host work GREAT with Mark S. Allen. The show this week had a lot of good guest. I really want to see Lone Survivor because prior to Mark's sit down with Mark Wahlberg, Peter Berg. and Marcus Luttrell. The story of Danny Dietz is just as amazing of the one who survived. Marcus Luttrell ALL OF THESE SEAL MEMBERS ARE HEROES! Who has a book about his life that is available on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Danny-Dunlap-Dietz-Cindy-Dietz-Marsh/dp/1629025364 / http://www.dannydietzinstitute.com/
I most likely will see August Osage County" but will wait for Blu Ray.
I LOVED Mark going behind the scenes of Divergent. I hope that he can bring more movies to us like that. I really enjoyed his chat with Mekhi Phifer who is one of my favorite actors.
One thing I didn't care for but actually enjoyed was the Kid's on Skype. They talked so much... Okay not really it was what they didn't say to allow Mark to drop some good one liners that made the interview worth it oh and the song from Heather and Big Al.
My Get to know you guest this week is Brooke Lusk, It was GREAT seeing her back on the show. Check out my short story below about her.
All in all the show delivered and it is always fun to watch. On a personal note I want to thank Mark and the entire Mark at the Movies cast and crew for selecting me as a winner to one of their contests.
Guests:
Brooke Lusk.. Who is Brooke: Brooke, a contest winner as a kid reporter and grew up assisting Mark on a variety of topics for both Good Day Sacramento and Mark at the Movies. Brooke has even Co-Hosted Mark at the Movies in the past after Ashley Williams departed. Brooke has interviewed many celebrities while appearing on Mark at the Movies including Justin Bieber, and her first interview was the talented Julie Andrews from Shrek 3. Brooke said her favorite interview was Toby Kebbell for Disney's The Socerer's in 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q8QBzV5LwY In 2013 Brooke released a single on Itunes... Stay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKFYf1BFZMg You can follow Brooke on several different Social Media sites https://www.facebook.com/brooke.lusk5?fref=ts / https://www.facebook.com/pages/TheBrookeLook/148467725356291 / https://twitter.com/Brookelusk / https://twitter.com/THEBR00KEL00K / http://instagram.com/brookelusk See more videos with Brooke and her outstanding young career at http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuJOIFVkPJTP38jT_MdCgEQ You can learn more about Brooke by going on her Website http://brookelusk.com/index.html Brooke is an outstanding reporter in the entertainment field and I believe the sky is the limit for her. I would be shocked if she is not one of the top on Hollywood's Red Carpets within the next 5-10 years. Personally Brooke is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Her smile is one of pure beauty but her spirit is far beyond that. Brooke is dating a wonderful man, Wesley and he treats her as the Princess she is.
