On today's Good Day Sacramento with Cody Stark Melissa and the Weekend Crew In celebration of Earth Day and Earth Week Nha Nguyen is checking out Placer Land Trust Earth Day Celebration at the Doty Ravine Preserve. With The Roseville City School District Foundation helping the Music Program Nha is at the Run4 Roseville 2016 where at least 1500 runners will run for the school district. Nha is going to be at the VIP (Very inspirational people) track and field games for disabled people taking place at Luther Burbank High School from 8-330pm On April 28th You can Dine out For Life! at participating restaurants 33% of their profits will be donated to support programs for HIV-positive youth in Sacramento. One of the restaurants taking part is Lotus Thai Cuisine. Gone are the days of stopping at rest stops and only picking up chips, soda and water. Today Kevin Hernandez is checking out The Sheldon Centre in Elk Grove off Hwy 99 where you can get gas, Self Serve Dog Wash, Big Kahuna Yogurt, McDonald's, Wine complete with Wine Tasting and more. Kevin is also in Folsom, California for the Walk MS and then he is checking out a Auto Show at Pinnacle Auto Spa. Heather Brent is with Todd Woodshed who create amazing wood creations. Heather is checking out the handmade jewelry collection from Emma and Everest Embellishments. Heather is checking out Stockton Earth Day at Victory Park 1001 N Pershing Ave. Stockton, CA Heather is then stopping by the Grubb City Food Truck for some lunch. Heather was with Todd Woodshed who creates amazing wood creations on pallet boards. Heather was checking out a local women's love of jewelry who turned it from hobby to online business. Emma and Everest Embellishments is a handmade jewelry line for everyday wear that is easy to wear. Heather was getting a preview of Stockton’s Earth Day Festival that has a long history of helping people recognize the importance of caring for our earth and natural resources.
Heather was in Stockton where it was time to get your grub on with Grubb City Food truck that promises you will walk away saying OMG after trying their food

Nha was with Placer Land Trust who was kicking things off with a big celebration out at the Doty Ravine Preserve Nha was checking out the 11th Annual Run4 Roseville where they are expecting nearly 1,500 runners! The Roseville City School District Foundation presented the school district with a “check” for $90,000 towards their music education program. Nha was at the VIP (Very inspirational people) track and field games at Luther Burbank High School for disabled people.  Nha was at Lotus Thai Cuisine learning how you can get your grub on while helping a good cause this week. Dining Out for Life is taking place on Thursday where 33% of the bill will go toward helping kids.

Kevin was checking out Sheldon Centre which is one rest stop that is NOT your typical off the freeway stop! Sheldon Centre is the first of its kind in California. Kevin was getting a preview of MS Walk Folsom where nearly 500 people are expected to raise more than $52,025 to support cutting-edge research and life-changing programs and services for people living with MS at Walk MS. Kevin was with Ken at Pinnacle Auto Spa who is partnering with EuroSunday, a local car club, to throw a car show that will feature between 200 and 500 exotic, classic, collector and other cars and enthusiasts.

Roqui was with David Osmond getting a preview of Walk MS at Justin Herman Plaza. Roqui was getting a Preview of Wanderlust 108 The Mindful Triathlon.

Melissa was with Skin Care Expert Keri Parker checking out trends for summer. Today Melissa had a Tutorial of the Dollar Tree and their coupon policy. Melissa was with Chris Weske getting a preview of the Sacramento Children's Home event taking place May 1st at 4475 Garden Highway from 12-4pm.

Nha: Placer Earth Week Celebration
It’s Earth Week and today on Good Day Nha was with Placer Land Trust who was kicking things off with a big celebration out at the Doty Ravine Preserve. The non-profit protects more than 8,000 acres of land in 34 locations across Placer County and today, area kids were out early to do their part in that effort.
