On this July 23rd Thursday edition a fast moving fire continues to burn at Lake Berryessa and Sean was at the Command Center bringing all the latest updates in the news blocks. Scheduled for today's show Melissa is back and she is taking us to Sparkle Bowtique. It's Hot Dog Days at 7-11. Sei Bella is so popular they had to move to a bigger space, we get a look at their new spot. Lollicup has been open for 8 years and Tina and Cody were there when it opened. Tina was getting a preview of Sacratomato Festival with a Salsa-Off with the Chefs from Ink.
Courtney:
Courtney was checking out a local man who creates wigs from Scratch and then donates them to people in need.
Alexis:
Alexis was with Dr. Tanghetti who is warning of a new trend of kids damaging their skin by doing Sunburn art. Alexis was learning Inversions 101 from Shakti Body Yoga standing on her head. Yoga continued with Alexis checking out Second Sunday Yoga in the Park.
Ken:
Ken was in the kitchen getting a preview of Uptown Uncorked.
Marianne:
Marianne was joined via skype by Adam Michael James who has written a book to give a unique look into Bewitched. Marianne talked with 2 veterans from the show Biggest Loser about Weight loss and keeping it off.
Ken/Marianne:
Sir Ian McKellan joined to talk about his new role in Mr. Holmes. They then talked with Shan Berries about a new game show called Beer Money.

When you find one story that is most touching to you and to others it's important to talk more about it. Courtney's story of My Pink Wig wit Sergio is so amazing, so touching and one that deserves more attention. What Sergio is doing is a service to anyone who knows that losing their hair because of illness can be heartbreaking. My friend Shawn L Brown lost her hair to Breast Cancer but she still looks just as amazing without but that doesn't mean others would feel the same way. If you can find a person with such a heart of gold and give back to those in need then i am all for it. Final Thought on today's show
Putting a bow on Thursday's proceedings one story planned never got covered but many stories that did will leave you full of joy and laughs. MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Story of the day came late in the 9am hour with Courtney and Sergio who makes wigs for those in need. This story was so touching and I just loved it. Mark also had a touching story with Tracey's Place of Hope getting a new home with help from Ex Raider Fred Biletnikoff. Tina having to wear a boot went head to head with a top chef making salsa. Marianne's Daily List was awesome. I loved the book she had all about Bewitched. Cody celebrating National Hot Dog Day was the right person to do just that. Him having the 7-11 employee read Sam Shane's Bio after drinking a Slurpee is gold. Cody also talking Rugby was awesome. One story not my favorite but a GREAT reminder came from Alexis with a new trend of Sunburn art. She found out why this is a serious academic and should NOT be done. The 2 from Biggest Loser sharing tips was also a great part of the show. I loved Melissa's segment at Sparkles Bowtique Cute Clothes Cute Kids. But of course as always none of this is possible without all of you at Good Day. See you at 430a to dance into the weekend and so much more.
