Box Office Report:
It's hold on the #1 Spot continues at the Box Office as once again Straight Outta Compton takes it with an estimated $13,240,000. Coming in second place this week is newcomer to the Box Office War Room with $11,000,000, Falling one spot to #3 is Mission Impossible with $8,300,000. Another Newcomer this week and a surprise to me was No Escape opening in 4th with $8,288,000. Falling 2 spots to round out the top 5 was Sinister with an estimated $4,650,000.

Going back to the Summer Block Busters Jurassic World CRUSHED the Summer.
Mark talked with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Kelly said Bryce really Kicked Ass in this movie. Everyone agreed.
New on DVD/Blu Ray:
1. Aloha - Kelly liked the movie for the cast. Lonni added it was nice to see the director think outside of the box when casting
2. Where Hope Grows - Mark LOVED THIS MOVIE! . Ali said it was refreshing. Dionna thought it was great.

Final Thoughts:
For the 3rd straight week Straight Outta Compton has lead not only in the Box Office but also in the discussion on Mark At The Movies. This week MIX joined Mark to talk about it i Retro Reel Review. MIX performed with NWA back in the day and had some interesting insight he could share including performing with the group at the Stockton, CA Civic Center with MC Hammer Opening.
New this week on the Show they talked about No Escape starring Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan as well as Lake Bell. Mark talked with all 3 and Pierce even joined via Satellite. Everyone thought this movie was worth seeing but again the dominance of Straight Outta Compton leading the way No Escape could only muster a 4th place finish.
With the end of Summer they looked back at the Summer Block Buster Jurassic World and how much of an impact it had on the Box Office. Kelly thought Bryce Dallas Howard Kicked Ass in the film.
New to DVD this week Aloha. Everyone like this movie and Lonni liked that they went outside of the box to cast the move. The Movie new to DVD is Where Hope Grows. I don't know if it will win any awards but Mark LOVED this Film and Dionna also thought it was great and Ali said it was refreshing.
All in All this week's Mark At The Movies did a solid job and i've said it before and will say again. Kelly, Dionna, Lonni and Ali really do their homework and add a lot to this show. For whatever my opinion is worth they have made the show better.
