Favorite Story / Story of the Day:
As Buffalo tries to unbarry itself from snow local folks are helping pick up Buffalo Bills Players on Snowmobiles so they can get out of town and ready for their game against the Jets to be played in Detroit. But back home here in California Turkey Drives are taking place all over the Valley today including 2 from local people. First one man is delivering Turkey Dinners to those in need.



Turkey Dinner:
Today on Good Day Marianne, Ken, and Mark talked with one local Sacramento man Brandon Haefele who is donating 1000 dinners to feed those in needs.From Sacramento Food Bank to St. Vincent each are getting 500 turkeys. In the 9am hour Mark joined up the Brandon and his group as they delivered turkeys.

Turkey Bike Ride:
Then also in the 9am hour a Turkey Bike Ride took place. Today on Good Day Tina was at a local Target where a group of 30 bike riders biked over the the Sacramento Food Bank with 81 Frozen Turkeys to be delivered.

Today on Good Day Julissa was in Fairfield with Mari Ruiz who takes boots and blings them out. We first met Mari in October when she showed off her Halloween Costumes. Smoker Joe Wine Barrel Furniture
Today on Good Day with Kristin you know those old wine barrels that just sit around waiting? Well Forget the wine, one local man has found creative ways to enjoy the barrels!  From chandeliers to tables, benches to bar stools, a Ripon craftsman is making all sorts of furniture out of empty wine barrels!  Today Kristin checked out some of Smoker Joe’s favorite pieces and what he is working on now.

A local woman is attempting to break TWO world records for most push-ups in one hour AND 24 hours!!  As if that isn’t enough, she’s also doing it while raising money for a good cause!!  Maria Tobar attempts to break the one-hour push-up record live on Good Day and will attempt the 24-hour world record on Thanksgiving at the Run to Feed the Hungry!!  Today Maria tries to beat her one-hour personal best of 878 push-ups she did while attempting to break Eva Clark’s world record of 1,206 push-ups!
