Favorite / Story of the Day: Halloween Day After, Special Treats, Thank you Corey, Bacon and Butter
Today is the day after Halloween so of course in classic Good Day style they wanted to see all the candy that was gotten and even Cody got the kids leftovers that they didn't want.
The day after Halloween also spells the end of Pumpkin Patches and Corn Mazes such as the case of Dave's Pumpkin patch where after tomorrow it will transform into Dave's Christmas Tree farm starting on Black Friday. But Tina was there this morning learning of what becomes of the leftover pumpkins. It is also the Day of the Dead and today Heather was in Sacramento learning of the events that took place at Dia de los Muertos today at CASA de ESPAÑOL 2115 J Suite 102 Sacramento, CA They even teach kids Spanish as well.
Heather was also in Fairfield today at a very unique bakery shop. This shop helps women. Trying to be as sensitive and non graphic Truffle Berries makes "Special" Cakes, Cookies, and cupcakes that help women crave salty and sweet at the same time during that 28 day cycle that women must go through. You can ask for it by name "PMS Cake, Cookies, Cupcakes" or you can be like the men who come in and say the Salty cake or just point. By the way she has a Peanut treat for men that I am just going to leave alone.
Bacon and Butter is back open and today on Good Day Tina was there learning about the menu items, serving and of course talking about their new location at 5913 Broadway Sacramento, CA.
Corey is one of the great producers of Good Day and a lot of fun as well as perfect for the weekend show. But like most producers the goal is to go to the weekday show and today Corey celebrated his final Saturday show to move to the weekday. While we say goodbye to Saturday Corey we say hello to Weekday Corey. Good Luck see you on Monday.

Today Cody was in the kitchen making Turkey Meatballs. However tomorrow night is the 23rd Annual Beaujolais Plus Wine Tasting and Art Auction where people can enjoy an evening of wine tasting while perusing and bidding on beautiful works of fine art including jewelry, pottery, metal work, glass, sculpture, painting and more, all donated by artists who participate in Kiwanis Art Fiesta taking place at Carmichael Presbyterian Church 5645 Marconi Ave. From 4pm-7pm Tickets $40
West Sac Attack:
