Today on Good Day the first official Holiday weekend has kicked off and today Cambi learned how to decorate, watched Frozen and more. Plus Nina became a Firefighter today and Morgan was running around finding deals and more but first she stopped off for breakfast at IHop. FireFighter Nina:
Today on Good Day Nina went to Rio Vista to learn all there is to know about being a Firefighter. Throughout the morning she learned different things from the job. She learned how to properly put on the Turnouts on in her second segment as in her first she introduced us to all the guys at the house. In the 9am hour Nina was checking out the power tools including the Jaws of Life. This is mainly used to get into a car that the doors cannot be opened and the person(s) are trapped inside they can also use them in twisted metal such as a building equipment. In this hour Nina was learning how to use the hose and what it takes to put out a fire. This was by far one of my favorite stories of the day coming from a Firefighter family ALL Firefighters and their job are very special to me. Decorating the Stark Family Tree
Today on Good Day Cambi was in the Stark Family Estate decorating their Christmas Tree. After the tree was done Cambi and Chelsea sat down and watched Frozen. This story has special meaning to me because I really like Cody and his family and I enjoy when they come on the show. I also like it  because I adhore Cambi and she was so good with the kids and would make a great baby sister.

Merry Maker Gift Giver:
Today on Good Day Lori was with a special viewer who was surprised during her shopping at Roseville Galleria. On Friday Kimberlee Armstrong was doing Black Friday Shopping and the Merry Makers picked her out at random and paid for all her purchases. The BEST part of the story came after when it was learned her son Tyler is battling cancer and she broke down in tears. She shared her story today and the BEST part of this story Tyler is in remission. This is the true meaning of Christmas and such a beautiful story.

For those of you who know Amber Coppedge, you know that she is one of the most selfless, generous people on the planet. You know that she will do anything to help anybody at anytime. She volunteers her time to help raise money & awareness for many different causes, serves food to the homeless, donates her time to coach soccer and volunteers for many different committees within the Sacramento Association of Realtors. She is a hardworking, driven mother of two beautiful children ages 14 & 11. She is spunky and sassy and gives 100% in anything and everything that she does. 


Well friends, it is now our turn to help Amber. 


Some of you may know that Amber has been battling cancer for over 2 years. She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2012 at the young age of 31, and began treatment immediately. At the time, she did not have health insurance and was forced to pay out of pocket for her medical expenses. Amber has paid  hundreds of thousands of dollars since being diagnosed, for her cancer related expenses. Recently, she found out she will need immediate surgery to remove masses that the doctors have located. She will soon thereafter begin another round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Unfortunately, her health insurance will not cover the majority of these expenses, and she will be faced with astronomical debt. 


We are asking for donations for Amber and her family, to help cover medical and living expenses while she is unable to work.
