"Makeup" Tips and Cody Too... Today in the News Saturday Edition 10/25/2014:
Favorite / Story of the Day: Morgan is a Shark, Tina is walking, Melissa's in the Corner and Cody is a Vampire:
On today's Show Cambi was taking care of the Big Story from yesterday as the investigation continues in the shooting death of 2 Police Officers so she was taken out of the reporter rotation meaning Morgan, Tina, Cody and Melissa taking care of the stories of the day.
The show kicked off with Morgan in Roseville for an event taking place with Floating Pumpkins. Floating Pumpkins you say? Yes like bobbing for apples now you swim for pumpkins. Morgan even dressed as a shark before jumping in the pool herself. So she started the live shot as a "Land Shark" and ended as a "Pool Shark".
Morgan in the 10am hour went to the 3rd Annual Howl O Ween Canine Fest and Costume Contest. Morgan even made a new friend while there. Morgan also checked out the 12 hour event at Red Chair Salon where ALL proceeds go for Breast Cancer.
Tina was at a very special event to raise awareness for Literacy. Walk 4 Literacy took place today at McClatchy Park and Tina was there to learn more about it as well as get the walkers going as the Emcee.
Like always Hair and Makeup are a big part of Halloween and today we got a big fill of that from GREAT Salons. The first is a traveling makeup artist, Amanda Pearlman who came into the studio to show how she does makeup on kids and you can still book her but she is filling up fast.
One of my new favorite hair and makeup guys Jason J Daniels was back in studio showing some GREAT makeup and hair ideas for Halloween as well as makeup you can do at home.
Finally the other Makeup artist came with a group that talked about the Sharron McCabe Vampire Ball taking place tonight.
Tina was also at The Studio in Roseville for a special Think Pink for Fitness workout event as well as she being at Planet Gymnastics where she was presented Lumpia and said the Lumpia contest will be coming back to Good Day in November.
