Favorite / Story of the Day:
Today's show had many favorite stories of the day from the first story of Cambi and the E-Waste event as Shriners try to raise money for repairs or replacement of their Go Carts that where stolen then recovered. To Qam and his success of his Comic Book and the fact that we can help him get there again for Level 2 and the Fundraiser for Crystal in Lincoln where the family is giving back to the community and the hair is going to Locks of Love.
But the Story of the Day is Cody. Today Cody Stark turns 44 and he is a BIG DEAL!!! Why is Cody a Big Deal you ask? He has Turkey's watching well that and because he is a GREAT Guy. Cody has been a GREAT Friend and brother for 5+ years and I owe him so much. It was great to see viewers like Janet Piper send in a Birthday Nod and Angie Larson bring his favorite breakfast cereal and soft drink Tab. Not only did these GREAT viewers chime in for Cody's birthday but others wrote in birthday wishes.
Yes I too wish Cody a Happy Birthday and for those asking his gift is being made and will soon be delivered. I WILL NOT SAY WHAT IT IS but I assure you it will be Epic.

Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation needs 200 breast cancer survivors to participate in forming a synchronized human pink ribbon during halftime at the Sacramento Kings preseason game on Tuesday, October 7, 2014! Albie Aware is the beneficiary of the Sacramento Kings Breast Cancer Awareness night called “Pink in the Paint.” If you're interested, read on... Here is what you will need to agree to into order to participate: · Arrive at Sleep Train Arena at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct 7 and remain until after the halftime show · Participate in a rehearsal at Sleep Train Arena – most likely on Sunday, Oct. 5 in the afternoon (Confirmation on Friday). No charge for parking for rehearsal. On Oct. 31st 2 local kids be representing the United Stated in Carolina, Puerto Rico in the Pan American Infantil Judo Championships as a member of the USA Judo Team! 12 year old Alessa Pimentel will be 1 of 50 representing the United States. 11 year old Anthony Urrea, will also be competing in the Copa Gigante tournament in Puerto Rico on Nov. 1st. These kids train extremely hard and love what they do. They train out of Pacific Judo Club of Stockton under sensei Ricardo Urrea.

There is a HUGE Tie-dye fest September 26th in Hayfork, CA it will feature the Guinness world record longest tie-dye measuring in at well over 1/2 mile and weighing in at over 900lbs! There will also be many of the world’s most renowned artists teaching classes and giving lectures. The fellas from Hippy Bobs Tiedye are bringing a TON of stuff to show off and tell us about the festival.

This is not just your typical E-Waste event this event is benefiting the Shriners Hospital. Someone stole their Go Carts in May damaged them badly so the money raised will for repairs or to replace. They need a total of $2600 for all the repairs or to replace the ones that cannot be repaired.

One of the BEST Places to get Frozen Yogurt Big Kahuna was in studio showing off 12 different flavors. This is by far and away one of if not the most favorite spot for Cody and I. They have 12 different locations 3 in Northern California soon to Elk Grove. YES!!!!

Today is Day of Peace and Cambi was at Carmichael Park checking it out. She started out at the Farmers Market and realized it was the wrong spot. OOPS

On Oct. 31st 2 local kids be representing the United Stated in Carolina, Puerto Rico in the Pan American Infantil Judo Championships as a member of the USA Judo Team! 12 year old Alessa Pimentel will be 1 of 50 representing the United States. 11 year old Anthony Urrea, will also be competing in the Copa Gigante tournament in Puerto Rico on Nov. 1st. These kids train extremely hard and love what they do. They train out of Pacific Judo Club of Stockton under sensei Ricardo Urrea.

There is a HUGE Tie-dye fest September 26th in Hayfork, CA it will feature the Guinness world record longest tie-dye measuring in at well over 1/2 mile and weighing in at over 900lbs! There will also be many of the world’s most renowned artists teaching classes and giving lectures. The fellas from Hippy Bobs Tiedye are bringing a TON of stuff to show off and tell us about the festival.

This is not just your typical E-Waste event this event is benefiting the Shriners Hospital. Someone stole their Go Carts in May damaged them badly so the money raised will for repairs or to replace. They need a total of $2600 for all the repairs or to replace the ones that cannot be repaired.

One of the BEST Places to get Frozen Yogurt Big Kahuna was in studio showing off 12 different flavors. This is by far and away one of if not the most favorite spot for Cody and I. They have 12 different locations 3 in Northern California soon to Elk Grove. YES!!!!

Today is Day of Peace and Cambi was at Carmichael Park checking it out. She started out at the Farmers Market and realized it was the wrong spot. OOPS
