NFL is just in its second week while MLB is nearing an end to its regular season. Today 75% of Bay Area teams that played had a good day. The lone team was the SF 49ers being pounded by the Seahawks 29-3 more later. The A's swept the Texas Rangers in 3 games, Giants took 3-4 against the Dodgers. The weekend also saw the Raiders defeat the Jaguars 19-9. But what else is taking place Today in the News.....

NFL Sunday:
Raiders topped the Jags 19-9.
The Cowboys fell to the Chiefs 17-16.
The Seahawks rained on the 49ers literally & figuratively crushing them 29-3. The game had a 1 hour weather delay.
The Buffalo Bills won over the Carolina Panthers. This game was going back & fourth until Fairfield native Stevie Johnson, caught the winning touchdown pass from Rookie QB EJ Manuel with just 2 seconds remaining. Wow! What a game, what a finish for this young team lead by CJ Spiller in the rushing attack winning 24-23.
Final Thoughts:
Today was another sad day in news with the shooting at the Washington, D.C. Navy building. At last update 4 have been killed with
several wounded. Much of My58 & Fox kept those updated along with CBS13/Good Day Sacramento did via twitter. Good Day Sacramento kept the show going but it seemed toned down today. Was it because of the content of the show today or personal. My guess was the content. Tony Danza was dropped from the show for possibly a bad satellite or something else but every hour was covered and covered well. Julissa remains on vacation so Ken sat with Laura for the 9am hour. Always good to see Ken for the entire show. Enjoyed the tips from fellow blogger Stephanie's tips with Courtney. All in all Good Day Sacramento won the ratings followed by Fox & My58. Reminder final episode & live tweet with @tvcody for Under the Dome at 9pm on CBS13 tonight.
