According to the Federal Highway Administration, approximately 50% of all bicycle accidents involve the bicyclist falling; only a small percentage of the reported bicycle crashes involve a bicyclist and a vehicle. Although this is fact, today the City of Roseville hopes to teachpeople some proper bike safety at the 20th Annual Family Bike Safety event. The goal of the event is to teach bicycle safety in a fun atmosphere to children and their parents. In addition, to encouraging everyone to wear a helmet, because helmets save lives!

Lori: Photography For Orphans
Today one photographer is taking free pictures for people in exchange for donations for orphans. Why you ask? Because Rachel Lesiw, herself was once an orphan, Rachel was adopted from S. Korea back in 1976 and since then her and her husband and have adopted 3 children, two of which, are also from South Korea. Due to new legislature that has passed in Korea, the adoption process has been slowed down to an unbearable pace. Children used to come home under a year old, but now they aren’t coming home until after their 2nd birthdays.

Friday Night Lights:
It's another week on the road this week as Sheldon travels to Laguna Creek HS. At the start of the game it's about 71 degrees lets see what that drops to by the end of the game. This game has more cops at it than a donut convention. After a quick Sheldon score to start the game 2 costly turnovers resulted in Laguna Creek scoring the last 3 scores. After 1 Laguna Creek 21 Sheldon 7. Despite 2 more turnovers for Sheldon the score remained 20-7 Laguna Creek at the half. 2 quick Laguna Creek turnovers to start the 3rd led to 1 Sheldon score plus another but they also gave one to Laguna making it 27-20 LGHS after 3. After a hard fought 2nd half Sheldon shut down Laguna Creeks offense only allowing 3 points while they scored 13. Final score Sheldon 33 Laguna Creek 30.

Her Nerds Need Love show is needing our help to find love for those who have a difficult time because they are collectors of comics, toys, and all things Science Fiction. Though I don't consider myself a nerd partly because I'm not that smart I am a toy soldier / GI Joe collector and I can relate to those who are. The truth is we are all geeks, nerds and we all can use help in the dating scene unless your willing to pay $10'sK for plastic surgery to look like Sandra Bullock or Beckham. Though we missed Amy who was attending a Wedding (not hers) Melissa did a GREAT job filling in at the desk. She always has been one of my favorite cohost's with Cody. Cody has been pretty lucky with finding them with the exception of 1 that we won't bring up now. But the show today was jammed packed 4 hours of fun. I had to laugh because the lady with the Winnie the Pooh collection kept saying she had a house full of pooh. Sorry it childish but it made me laugh. It was a GREAT job by all today at Good Day Sacramento as they were short staffed.
