Friday Night Lights:
Sheldon Huskies at Elk Grove Thundering Herd.... It was homecoming night for the Thundering Herd of Elk Grove. We all know Lori Wallace is the Queen followed by Ashley Williams & Cambi Brown as the Princesses of Elk Grove but on this night they did not get honored. This night it was all about The Thundering Herd showing the Huskies why they are the top in Elk Grove. After 1 the Herd 14 Sheldon 0. Elk Grove continued their dominance in the 2nd quarter scoring 2 more times making the halftime score 28-0 Elk Grove. At the end of 3 the Herd led 48-0. And that a wrap.... Elk Grove dominated from start to finish winning 55-0. This sends Sheldon to 2-2.

Final Thoughts:
Though we celebrate Cody & his birthday we got an extra Lori day and I love it. We also had newbie Charity filling in for Alan today who is currently fitness training in SoCal.
Charity did a nice job but needs to work on something's to become better. But I'm not going to criticize her but will always encourage. I am hoping she stays with Good Day Sacramento for awhile and grows into the reporter roll.
Now onto the man of the day.... Our friend and long time host of Good Day Sacramento weekend Cody Stark. He had many surprise guest today. The first being viewer Angie Larson aka the Tab supplier made him her specialty of lasagna and of course supplied the Tab. Our next guest was Nathan who provide Cody with a somewhat creepy rendition of Miley Cyrus new song Wrecking Ball but in true Nathan & Good Day Sacramento style changed the words to fit a perfect, funny birthday song. Our final viewer guest brought in Janet Piper who made Cody a cake. It was a GREAT FUN day all in all and I would like to say one more wish & thank you to my friend, my brother and all around GREAT Guy Cody Stark. Happy Birthday Cody enjoy your day. STOP THE RAIN NOW PLEASE! :)
