28th Annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance & Wreath Laying Ceremony
Today as the Country mourns the 73rd Anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor Good Day and Cambi went to one remembrance with the Greater Sacramento Area Submarine Veterans who held the 28th Annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance and Wreath Laying Ceremony. Officers and members of the Gold Country Base, United States Submarine Veterans have a goal to keep the memory of December 7, 1941 alive and to honor the heroism, the dedication, and painful sacrifice of our service men and women on that fateful day. The event took place at Discovery Park Sacramento, CA
Extra Commentary: Though we only heard the story for a few minutes during Cambi's interview I could listen to their stories all day and just in the few minutes I learned so much that you don't learn in the History Books.

This message is from the event organizer that needs our help in this time of giving. For those of you who know Amber Coppedge, you know that she is one of the most selfless, generous people on the planet. You know that she will do anything to help anybody at anytime. She volunteers her time to help raise money & awareness for many different causes, serves food to the homeless, donates her time to coach soccer and volunteers for many different committees within the Sacramento Association of Realtors. She is a hardworking, driven mother of two beautiful children ages 14 & 11. She is spunky and sassy and gives 100% in anything and everything that she does.
Well friends, it is now our turn to help Amber.
Some of you may know that Amber has been battling cancer for over 2 years. She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2012 at the young age of 31, and began treatment immediately. At the time, she did not have health insurance and was forced to pay out of pocket for her medical expenses. Amber has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars since being diagnosed, for her cancer related expenses. Recently, she found out she will need immediate surgery to remove masses that the doctors have located. She will soon thereafter begin another round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Unfortunately, her health insurance will not cover the majority of these expenses, and she will be faced with astronomical debt.
We are asking for donations for Amber and her family, to help cover medical and living expenses while she is unable to work.
Any support you are able to offer for Amber is very much appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Today Mariah err Nina was with the Gay Men's Chorus. The Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus was founded in 1984 as a singing group that aimed to foster a sense of community and provide support for gays and lesbians in the Sacramento area. Today the streets of Yuba City is hosting their annual Our Lady of Guadalupe Parade. This tradition started with 20 people in 1966. The tradition came from Mexico and because people couldn't always go to Mexico to celebrate this event, it was brought over to Yuba City and each year the event get bigger.Started at Richland Housing Percy Ave & Garden Hwy.
