Today's Recap:
On this Wednesday May 27, 2015, Jason makes his second appearance on Young and the Restless today so in true Good Day style they will celebrate leading up to the event at 11am this morning local time. Also on today's show Tina is Dishin With Tina at Greens Table in Modesto. Schools are ending and it's time to plan those family trips so we get tips how to travel in cars with kids.Mike on the Mic is back talkinging about tonight's River Cats Game themed Pitch Perfect. We get a preview of Beer and Cider Fest taking place in Davis this weekend and more all in today's edition of These Are My Children? ... Today in the News....



Cambi:
Cambi was getting a sneak peek at Leaders Golf who is having their Grand Opening Saturday. Father's Day is coming and Cambi headed to Home Depot for some Dad's Do's and Don'ts. Artwork you can touch? Cambi was checking out some art work in Old Sac today. 



Alexis:
Road Trips are upon us now wit the kids out of school so today Alexis met up with a local Blogger for tips on Road Trips with Kids. After taking kids on the road Alexis headed to Davis Sudwerk where this weekend they are celebrating Beer and Cider Fest on Saturday and proceeds go toward Citizens Who Care About the Elderly. Alexis was then back in studio to talk with Kelley Jakle actress in Pitch Perfect who is in town for Pitch Perfect Night at the River Cats Game. Mike on the Mic was also in studio.



Courtney:
Today Courtney with with Lipstick Giraffe getting tips on wearing white. With Allergies in full effect Courtney and Tina teamed up with Professional Taster Orietta to taste some honey



Mark:
Seaworld came to Good Day to show some of their rescue Animals including Owls,  Kangaroo's and more.



Kristin:
A program called Amazing Athletes gets kids and toddlers moving with exercise. Today Kristin was in Rocklin checking it out. 



Quick Thought:
As the build up continued all morning Jason's appearance will have aired by the time this posting is posted (11am PST) Good Day was all about his appearance giving Jason 4 segments to talk about it, Marianne's Daily List talked about failed Soaps and Jason's body language showed nerves and excitement all morning long. When it wasn't Young and the Restless Cambi was golfing in heels. checking out art, and gifts for dad. Alexis went from traveling with kids to beer and cider fest no it had nothing to do with traveling with kids. Then she got all giddy when she talked to a real life Bella from Pitch Perfect Kelley Jakle who is in town to help celebrate the River Cats Pitch Perfect game. What would make the game even better is if the starting pitcher threw a perfect game 27 up 27 outs no hits walks or errors. Kristin was also with some Amazing Athletes who happen to be kids and toddlers learning to exercise. However for me Mark got one of the coolest segments with Seaworld showing off some rescue animals including 2 owls and a kangaroo with a Joey.

Today on Good Day Alexis was getting a preview of Davis Beer and Cider Fest who is celebrating 11 years of bringing you the best of the “best, most innovative regional brews in the state and beyond!” All funds raised go to Citizens Who Care for the Elderly, a local nonprofit organization that provides social and respite support services to the elderly and their caregivers, and senior peer counseling services.

Alexis: River Cats Pitch Perfect Night & Actress Kelley Jakle
Actress Kelley Jakle joined Alexis in studio along with Mike on the Mic to talk about tonight's the Sacramento River Cats as they are taking on the Nashville Sounds on a night called “Pitch Perfect Night.” The players on the team will be wearing special jerseys for one night only that will say “Sacramentones.” These jerseys will be auctioned off after the game and all proceeds will go towards the River Cats’ charity. Also featured tonight is Sacramento native and actress Kelley Jakle! Kelley is best known for her role as Jessica in both “Pitch Perfect” and “Pitch Perfect 2!” She attended St. Francis High School and will be singing the National Anthem! Today she joined n studio to sing her vocal trumpet that she sings during the opening number of Pitch Perfect 2!

SeaWorld invades Good Day!!! Today Mark got up-close-and-personal with the park’s animal ambassadors to learn about SeaWorld’s rescue program (which is currently treating animals affected by the recent Refugio oil spill)! They also brought some of the animals in.
