Today's Recap:
The week is coming to a close and Cody says the temps are heating up in this May 28th Edition. Also included today Melissa is back and she is checking out a protein drink. Old Soul is bringing back Latte Art. Dat Phan is playing Punchline this weekend but first he stops by Good Day. The Vietnam Vet Wall Memorial Comes to Roseville and we get a look at that as well and no Thursday would be complete without Gina from Thrift Town. All this and more in Cody, Jeet Yet.... Melissa:
Melissa was putting a Vegan friendly Protein powder to the test at Cal Fit this morning. She liked one of them, said it tasted like Cake Batter. Melissa then want to Soil Born Farms to preview #MondayMeal a Farm to Fork campaign taking place in Rancho Cordova where you can submit your recipes. 



Alexis: 
Taking place today at Old Soul Co the 2nd Installment in SPLAT! Where at least 60 Barista's get together to create Latte Art. Alexis was then in Roseville where the Moving Wall is in town. This is a replica of the Wall in Washington DC and will be here through the weekend.



Mark/Ken/Marianne
The 3 talked with Actress Blythe Danner about her new movie I'll See You in my Dreams and then Mark and Ken talked with  Kenneth Feld from Ringling Bros Elephant Conservation as the elephants get ready for retirement from the show. Dat Phan joined the 3 at the desk to talk about his shows taking place at Punchline this weekend. Ken introduced Peter Petty who brought the sounds of the 1920's to the Good Day Stage and you can see him next Tuesday at Twilight on the Tarmac.
 
 
 
Courtney: 
Sweet Earth was in studio showing off their Vegan/Veggie Breakfast Burritos. She then got a preview of Behind the Barre from Capitol Dance Project taking place at Crest Theatre

Kristin was at Thunder Valley not just checking out the High Roller Suite but all the other items that comes with being a High Roller
 
 
 
Tina: 
Today Tina met Bean no not her Bean but the Adoptable Pet of the Week from SPCA. 
 
 
 
Gina:
No Show would be complete on a Thursday without Gina from Thrift Town. Today she made a sewing table into a drink station perfect for your Graduation parties. 



Quick Thought:
Today had a theme to the show and that was eating but eating Healthy. From Melissa tasting the Protein Shake to #MondayMeal as part of Farm to Fork. Courtney talking about the Vegan / Veggie Breakfast Burrito. Ken bringing 5 facts about the Hamburger and of course Gina brought the drinks with her Drink Station and to pay for it all Kristin is a High Roller and showed how they live. However you need entertainment so Peter Petty provided that as well as Capitol Dance Project. Plus the Vietnam Wall Replica in Roseville was so beautiful and such a great sight to see.How great was it to see the Good Day Family all Gather Round the TV to support Jason yesterday with is role in Young and the Restless. Alexis: Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Replica
Today on Good Day Alexis was in Roseville looking at The Moving Wall, a 1/2 scale of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, standing at six feet tall at the center and covering almost 300 feet from end to end. The Moving Wall includes the names of over 58,000 service members who gave their lives in service during the Vietnam Conflict. In addition to The Moving Wall, a Vietnam-era H-model Huey helicopter flown primarily at night during service will be on display.

Today on Good Day Tina met Bean from Sacramento SPCA an adorable pet that could be all yours!!!
Name: Bean Breed: Staffordshire Terrier Color: Brindle Age: 7 1/2 years old Sex: Male Adoption fee: $100
Bean thinks he is a lap dog and will crawl up on you or hang out next to you on the couch. He enjoys other dogs and might do okay with cats too. He is super low key and is such a good boy. He has tested as heartworm positive and is currently on medication. He has a mild case and the shelter will provide the medication and give the injections that he will continue to need for another month.
