Hang Out With Cody Melissa & Friends.... Today in the News Saturday Edition 5/16/2015



Today's Recap:
It's the second weekend of May and on this 16th day we look forward to 4 hours of fun TV with Cody, Melissa, Lori, Cambi, Tina and Nha. Some of the stories featured today are Melissa's Coupon Corner, Tina is going to the Tattoo Expo, Summer is coming though the temperatures may not look like it right now but Ikea has your Summer Furniture needs. Rover is in a parade and Cambi goes to Fairytale town (This will be fun) Nha goes to a garage sale and Superhero's go to UC Davis Hospital to visit kids and so much more in this edition of Hang Out With Cody Melissa & Friends.... Today in the News....



Nha:
Start your day off with a workout. Nha did that today at OrangeTheory Fitness now open in Elk Grove. Looking for some cool items such as Western Jewelry, IPad, and more? Nha was in Stockton checking out the Western and Antique Auction taking place this weekend. Nha was in Tracy for a huge garage sale for the The Noah's Ark Foundation, This Garage sale benefits paying for medical bills for sick and injured animals. Nha then headed to Manteca where Gone But Not Forgotten are restoring Veteran Cemetery Markers. 



Cody/Melissa
Cody started his day off talking sports so you don't sound silly. Melissa and Cody talked with the creator of Broga Yoga and how you can get involved. Cody was with the World Famous Bonnie aka the GREATEST Neighbor EVER talking about the Quilt Show taking place in Granite Bay today. Melissa was in the Coupon Corner showing the Savingstar App in part 1 and in part 2 Deals of the Week and how you can eat for a dollar. A Cancer survivor got together with some of her Superhero friends to visit with Sick kids at UC Davis Hospital. Cody was out back with Raley's checking out meats perfect for your BBQ. Cody continued with Raley's getting some Summer BBQ recipes. Comedian Sarah Tiana stopped by to talk to Cody and Melissa before she performs in Rocklin tonight. Never be unprepared for stranger danger. Robinson's Taekwondo was in talking about their clinic and giving a small demo of what kids can do in the event someone tries to take your kid



Cambi:
Summer is coming and it's time to get ready for it. Cambi was checking out what's new at Ikea for Summer from furniture to party items. Cambi then took Good Day to your game were a group of kids learned to play T-Ball in Pleasant Grove. Cambi was at the Orangevale Pow Wow days taking place this weekend and she was in the parade with Rover. Cambi finished her day at Fairytale Town checking out Farms, Friends and Fairytales where you can see how clothes are made. 



Tina:
Truckin' Tina the Truck Driven Mama was at the Truck Driving competition taking place today and tomorrow at McClellan Park. Tina then went to check out the Lineworkers Rodeo. We first saw a preview of this Wednesday when Cambi was there and tried to get on the pole. The competition is free to the public. Tina was at Downtown Ford with Make A Wish for a classic car show. Tina started her day at McClellan Park then headed back there to finish the day at Tattoo Fest. 



Lori:
Lori had Pinterest Ideas of the Week for End of the Year Teacher Gifts. Lori had her Hot Headlines. 



It was yet another great day for Good Day with a lot of fun activities and a lot of activities going toward charity as well as people coming together. One thing I've learned in watching Good Day over the years, it's like opening your living room for 4 hours and just getting to Hang Out With Cody Melissa & Friends.... Today in the News...

Jenese Borges-Soto founded the Gone But Not Forgotten Veterans Project at the Manteca cemetery 3 years ago.
