Cody's Drafty Weather... Today in the News 5/1/2015



Today's Recap:
We made it to Friday and it's May 1, 2015. Today on the show Melissa hangs out with Neil the Tortoise. Cody's Thon is this weekend and Cody send it off Sunday with a Panel from 1-2 talking all Superheros on CW31 Flash, Arrow, etc. We get a preview of the Intergalactic Expo. It's Lei Day and we find out more today plus so much more in today's edition of Cody Put A Ring On It.... Today in the News....



Mark was in Hollywood getting ready to talk to the stars of Pitch Perfect



You normally don't see Turtles walk the Red Carpet unless your Neil the Tortoise who's now only has his own calendar but his owner has made the cover of Wall Street Journal. Melissa was hanging out with Neil this morning as he and friends walked the carpet and attended an after party. After Melissa was done with Neil and Sean got his World Series Ring the two met up at the Whole Foods Market in Folsom with Colleen Patrick-Goudreau as the 2 of them get ready to take the 30 Day Vegan Challenge. 



Want to get your hands on a World Series Ring? Tonight the River Cats are handing them out to the first 5000 fans but one lucky fan got his early when Good Day surprised Sean Bennett with his own. Marianne and Ken talked with Mick on the Mic while they surprised Sean.



Many local colleges are having a Fashion Show this weekend. Nha was in Stockton checking out the Delta College previewing their show and Courtney went to American River to preview their show. Courtney said the ARC Show has limited tickets available. Once Courtney checked out the fashion show she needed jewelry to go with it so what better place to go than the American Cancer Society Jewelry event taking place today. Once finished at Delta College Nha then went to VanderHelm Farm to pick Blueberries. For $3 a pound you can pick your own or if you want them to pick them it will be $5 a pound.



Do you love Olive Oil? Marianne was with professional taster Orietta Giajnorio showed how to train our tongue when it comes to olive oil. She will be featured at the State Fair as well. Marianne also talked with the Hui O Hawaii Club as today is Lei Day and the members of the club presented the Good Day Crew with Lei's and then the club danced the Hula. 
 
 
 
May the Fourth be With You is Monday but this weekend the Intergalactic Expo is taking place in West Sacramento. Cody got a preview of the show today and will be there live Sunday in the 10am hour. In addition Cody along with Ben from Empire Comics will be hosting a special panel from 1-2pm talking all things Superhero on #CW such as The Flash, Arrow, etc. So if you love all things Sci Fi this weekend this is the place to be.
 
 
 
Kristin was in Rocklin checking out Free Flow Academy learning Parkour and finding out when classes are available. 



With all the River Cats handing out the replica Rings tonight and coupled by the look on Sean's face when he got one and later the Good Day Staff showing their Rings it's only fair to say... Cody Put A Ring On It.... Today in the News...
