Today's Recap:
As we continue traveling through May on this 18th day we get healthy grilling tips in today's Check This Out. Melissa is heading to Insight Coffee Roasters new location. The Odd Pawn Shop Winner is announced. Weberstown Mall has a new ride, KNCI's Golf and Guitars is tomorrow but today we get a preview of Old Dominion. Melissa:
Melissa started her day off with Coffee at Insight Coffee Roasters newest location learning how to become a barista



Courtney:
Courtney had a new Check This Out with some Healthy Grilling Tips in time for all your grilling needs. Courtney was then at California Loan and Jewelry for the winner of the Odd Pawn Contest.



Kristin:
Old School Houses are hard to find but one in Plymouth is getting a makeover from one of it's students who was one of the last to leave in 1955 is remodeling it to look like the days of old. Built in 1924 this school will soon look be remodeled like it should be. Later Kristin was in Ione riding a piece of Rail History. This is the steepest Rail Car Ride and you can ride it during Rail Fair coming up.



Cambi:
Cambi was in Modesto at Weberstown Mall where they now have a Bungee Ride for just $10 you can get 3 minutes of high flying fun that will have you flipping.



Nha:
Nha was in Cameron Park at Eskaton where they have a Gnome Project. One Gnome want on 20 Combat Missions.



Old Dominion Took the Good Day Stage for 2 songs before they play at Golf and Guitars tomorrow as part of the KNCI event. Listen to Tina Machua weekdays 11-3pm

Nha: Traveling Gnomes
The 2nd Annual Eskaton Traveling Gnomes Project kicked off today and today on Good Day Nha Nguyen was out at Cameron Park to learn more about how the event got its start and how organizers say it’s bringing the community together. One Gnome had Combat 20 missions overseas.

Kristin: Save Our Schoolhouse
Today Kristin was in Plymouth at Willow Springs School House which was built in the 1924 by local families in Amador County. It serviced families with kids in grades 1-8. It was closed in 1955 but has been used a community center ever since and it’s in need of some repairs. One of the kids Tom Waite who went there it’s last year is now rebuilding it.

4 ounces Barefoot Refresh Crisp White
6-7 whole Mint Sprigs
Juice from 1/2 Lime
4 1″ chunks Honeydew Melon
2 1″ slices Bosc Pear (Cut Lengthwise)
1 ounce Simple Syrup
1 1/2 – 2 ounces Club Soda
Mint Sprig for Garnish
Place mint sprigs, lime juice, honeydew melon, pear and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Muddle lightly. Add Barefoot Refresh Crisp White and ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with additional mint sprig.
