Today's Recap:
In 1982 a Comedian / Former Weatherman from Indianapolis joined the ranks as a Late Night Talk Show Host following The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson on NBC. Well known for his Top Ten list and witty one liners as well as Stupid Pet Tricks David Letterman flew toward the top of the ratings. When Johnny left the Tonight Show Dave was thought to be the replacement but instead that job was given to Jay Leno who ended up having a very nice run on the Tonight Show before stepping away and then coming back after the ratings with Conan tumbled. However by this time Dave left NBC in 1992 moving to CBS for The Late Show with David Letterman. This proved to be a very successful move for Dave as he and Jay would battle back and forth in the ratings both smelling #1 during their runs. Dave is giving his last Top Ten List tonight on CBS before he goes into retirement. Today on Good Day they pay tribute to Dave throughout the show with an Alka Seltzer suit, Stupid Pet Tricks and so much more. In addition to Dave's Tribute Tina is Dishin With Mama Ann's Deli and so much more in today's Special Editon of #DavidLettermanTributeShow .... Today in the News....

Country music sensation and foster care advocate Jimmy Wayne performed live on the Good Day stage after he talked with Tina Jimmy’s in town to kick off a foster care youth hiring program in Sacramento!! When Jimmy was a teen, his mother and stepfather pulled the car over and let him out. Without question my favorite parts of the show today were all the top ten lists as well as Mark getting dunked in the suit. Non David Letterman Tribute related all of the Calling All Dreamers that Cambi featured. Dishin With Tina and Jimmy Wayne not only was his song great but his story is even better.

Country music sensation and foster care advocate Jimmy Wayne performed live on the Good Day stage after he talked with Tina Jimmy’s in town to kick off a foster care youth hiring program in Sacramento!! Without question my favorite parts of the show today were all the top ten lists as well as Mark getting dunked in the suit. Non David Letterman Tribute related all of the Calling All Dreamers that Cambi featured. Dishin With Tina and Jimmy Wayne not only was his song great but his story is even better.
