Today's Recap:
IT'S FRIDAY May 8th. What a week it's been. It all started with Mark and Cody on Safari at Safari West on Monday and with a lot of fun in between to reach today. Today Kristin is in Tahoe for Amgen Tour as women are invited for the first time. Looking to eat healthy?  Sun and Soil Juices has your Organic Wonder Bowl. About a week and half ago Marianne talked with a Wedding Photographer who was shooting a wedding at the time of Nepal Quake. Now he has a Go Fund Me Page for relief. CUTE ALERT! Tomorrow is a fun Puppy Bowl but today we get a preview of these adoptable pups. All this and more in today's edition of Cody's Corner... Today in the News...



Want to earn cash for your clothes? Today Melissa was in Valley Springs at My Sister's Closet where you can earn cash for clothes or buy new / used clothes for your closet. She then checked out a local hair salon next to the shop called Studio 42. Melissa then teamed up with Sean to learn how to shop in bulk during their 30 Day Vegan Challenge with Author Colleen Patrick-Goudreau



Alexis was at Sun and Soil Juice's checking out their new Organic Bowls.



Nha was in Clear Lake Oak with a group that bottles the California Scents using a distillery to bottle them.



Courtney talked about a local woman carrying a rock to Missouri for her sister who moved there.



Marianne talked with Charleston Churchill the Jackson Wedding photographer who got stuck in Nepal during the quake. He now has a Go Fund Me Page.



Ken was with Animal Planet and Sacramento SPCA who are teaming up with a friendly version of Puppy Bowl tomorrow and a FREE Adoption event tomorrow at 11am. Ken introduced one of Eddie Money's Musicians  Glenn Symmonds who you can see perform 2 shows coming up in July in this area, July 13th and 31st.



While Kristin was talking Amgen Tour in the Snow at Heavenly Cody was out back talking to the all diabetic team learning the steps they have to take during the race.



Tina was also with SPCA as they showed the kittens up for adoption at tomorrow's event. Then Tina was in the Kitchen with Adrian from Le Cordon Bleu learning to cook with Kale.



Courtney was Downtown previewing tomorrow's Dress Up and Wine Down event benefitting WEAVE.



That concludes another solid Friday show ending with John, Cody, Melissa all joining Jason on the corner as he was punished for cheating yesterday. For all these stories and more this is.. Cody's Corner... Today in the News....

Courtney: Dress Up, Wine Down
Today on Good Day Courtney was previewing “Dress up wine down” to benefit WEAVE. This is a free 2nd Saturday event for the public where local boutique owners will shut down the block at Capitol and 19th in downtown Sacramento for a runway show that also features food & wine.
