Today's Recap:
It's Memorial Day, The Day we honor those who served and have fallen. On the show toda many events will be taken place such as the Boy Scouts laying flags, Celebrate the day with Ice Cream at Farrell's or a classic car show Vettes for Vets. Go to a website and read stories from soldiers. Non Memorial Day related Mark and Dave recap more from Half Dome. Courtney talks with Uniquka Christian from Student I.C.O.N.S. Kristin:
Kristin started her day at Mt. Vernon where Boy Scouts will lay flags at each grave site to honor the vets who have been lost. 



Marianne/Ken:
I am Military History creator Tim Moon joined to talk about his website where vets and active service men and women can share their stories. In addition Tim is collecting stories from WWII vets to keep them close to us. Marianne talked with Dave from Go Devils GI Jeep Club as a convoy of jeeps and military vehicles headed out from Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi to several cemeteries to honor those we've lost. 



Michael:
Michael Marks was in stockton talking about the cherry crops and how cherry farmers are using Biofilm to protect the cherries.



Courtney: 
Courtney was with the first Good Day Fashion Challenge Winner Uniquka Christian who mentors students through the Student I.C.O.N.S. program to get them into fashion. Courtney was at Macy's Downtown where a family of 4 is getting a makeover for a Military Makeover. The Dad is deployed and was not able to take part. 



Cambi:
Cambi was checking out underwater robots from Jesuits Robotic Team. She then headed to check out the Vettes for Vets Car Show on Front Street.



Mark:
Farrell's Ice Cream is honoring those who serve and served with a FREE Sundae.

After the first competition ended in a controversy Melissa ended up winning in a lap off. The second round it was Laser Tag and Jason was the clear winner. So after 2 competitions it's 1 - 1

Now that the Go Kart and Laser Tag is done it's time to dance and this time Jason won this contest. Jason now leads 2-1

Quick Thought:
I loved seeing all the Memorial Day tributes whether it be the Boy Scout with them placing the flags, The Go Devils GI Jeeps Club honoring the fallen. Farrell's Ice Cream with the FREE Sundae or if you purchase it $1 going to charity. Macy's honoring 1 family with a makeover. Tim Moon making the I am Military History website so that vets can share stories plus he getting stories from WWII vets so that they live forever. and Sean out in Dixon where they are honoring the fallen complete with a C130 Coast Guard Flyover as shown in the photo below. 



It's always fun when Melissa takes on Maloney and the 2 of them get so competitive with each other they almost have to be separated. This time they did 5 contests in 1 from Go Karts, Laser Tag, Dancing, Golf, and Bumper Boats from Boomers in Modesto. The 2 battled back and forth arguing like a married couple and even including a controversy during the Go Kart. Jason thought he heard 2 laps and kept going and Melissa said only 1. So the 2 had a lap off and Melissa ended up winning. So after that it was all 2-2  going into the Bumper Boats and they tied.So who won? To be determined. 



In other stories today Mark and Dave had a complete recap of Half Dome Climb and Cambi checked out a Robotic's team heading to competition. Plus it's always great to see Courtney with the first Good Day Fashion Challenge winner and how she is giving back to Students with her Student I.C.O.N.S. program.

Macy's with the Military Makeover for the family of the serviceman deployed. Cambi at Vettes for Vets especially seeing the Huey Helicopter and the Go Devils GI Jeep Club. Non Memorial Day related I enjoyed Mark and Dave recapping Half Dome and of course the Mel Vs Maloney Challenge is always fun complete with controversy.
