Today in the News 7/5/2013:
Wow! What a day it was yesterday. Did we ever bring in the 4th with a bang? Just in Sacramento the temp got up to 110. 108 in Vacaville. At 11pm it was still 82. But the weather people are predicting a large drop starting today. In other news being covered last night was a large boat fire in Seattle, and all of the firework displays in our area. They did cover 1 other firework show in Simi Valley that ended in horrible tragedy with at least 20 people injured after the display misfired and shot off too many or something.. More details will be covered later. One lighthearted moment the BART strike is over and a top local station has a bit of a spell check issue in their graphic (see photo). All this and more will be covered in today's edition of Today in the News...

Final Thoughts:
For the most part all 3 shows had a laid back feel to it if you can have such a thing on My58 & Fox. Again Fox fails to provide info for their cooking segment but I will not harp to much on it. Just the way they are I guess. Just would be nice to know who was making the food so that you can visit their establishment. As far as My58 goes again this show is just an extension of KCRA Reports from 430-7am on Channel 3 with a couple of extra features mixed in. It's always nice to see Ruthie Bolton Sacramento Monarchs/Auburn Tiger's legend in town helping girls out. I love Melissa and how she gets involved in her live shots swimming in the truck pool. Julissa was not feeling well today but made it through the show. The benefit Mark covered all morning is such a great cause and I hope they have a GREAT turn out. We made it to Friday so the next 2 days will be my weekend editions which are always fun. But today for all my readers I've done something I hope you all enjoy.
