Today in the News 7/14/2013 Weekend Edition Part 2:
Today is Sunday fun day but before we get to that I want to discuss a couple of Hot topics. A young man is dead and a family lost a son at the hands of another man. This went to trial and the case is pure as day that the man killed this boy however the jury saw it a different way and decided to let him walk a free man. Mr. Zimmerman knows he is not free because in the court of public opinion he is guilty. But nonetheless
he is free. One thing to be clear about rioting in the streets, destroying property and/or any attempt to harm Mr. Zimmerman is not and will not bring Trayvon back. So PLEASE, do not react in away that will get yourself into trouble all you are doing is harming yourself and others. Two people know the truth of what took place, 1 is not talking the other 1 can't. In sports related news Tim Lincecum threw a no hitter for the San Francisco Giants against the Padres Saturday. This was Tim's 1st No hitter. Now for the rest of Today in the News:....

Final Thought:
Today's show was so funny with Melissa at the fair first zip lining then bungee jumping was an instant Good Day Sacramento classic moment. Not only did Mel deliver but the viewers getting in emails & photos of the great Twinkie release. At one point the tracker map needed to be bigger so they needed the famous Mega Map that was part of the floor at their old studio that they used for traffic
reports.
It's always a great day when you get Nina, Lori, and Eleanor all on the same show. So many highlights from today's show be sure to go to the website http://gooddaysacramento.cbslocal.com/for video clips and more.
See you tomorrow with an all new weekday edition of Today in the News.
