Opening Statement:
IT'S HOT!!! So what does that mean? Rattlesnakes could be hiding in your grass or someone's tall grass. So when you are walking and/or walking your pet be on the lookout for any snakes in the grass. It also means fires. The grass is dry so don't mow your lawn when temps hit extreme because a rock could start a fire.
Last night I posted a message regarding something that was brought to my attention about a new CW line up in the fall. Starting October 4, a New 5 hour block will take over the CW Network. So the question is Does this affect Good Day Weekend? Mark at the Movies? As of the time of this writing no word has been given but I have a possible lead into this story. Right now it appears these 2 shows are not affected however until I get proper word the question will remain. Lets hope Good Day Weekend is NOT canceled when it comes October. I don't think it will be. Here is the question I asked last night with a link to the story.

Ken started off Show and Tell with a picture of his son staying cool standing in a bucket of water, Tina showed pictures of her last few days on air including her trying to tackle Lance Briggs. Lori should a device called Puddle Jumper to keep kids safe in water. Mark had News of the Weird. The 5am Club Member was introduced. The Question of the day was Favorite Cold Beverage you treat yourself to. Marianne's Daily List was talking about foods vegans eat that meat lovers can enjoy too like veggies, beans and instead of mayo something else. Finally Sean talked to one of the owners from the fire that had his dog Daphne had to be rescued

In this hour Mark is out on the lake with a local swim team trying to raise money for a trip. They plan to pull Mark across the lake. Cambi is in Stockton with Waste Management handing out prizes for recycling right. Marianne had her Daily Joe that included a larger creature that looms in the ocean. Larger than a Great White. Todd and Nina from #Now100.5 checked in to talk about the Disneyland trip giveaway and Todd wants to wear a Speedo. Just say no.

Cambi was in Stockton surprising people with $50 gift cards from Waste Management for recycling. Marianne and Ken talked with former Minister turned Author Tim Rymel who told his story of coming to terms he is gay.

An early morning fire that displaced 17 families and pets had a happy ending. Several pets had to be rescued and one dog, Daphne had her picture taken with her getting O2 from the GREAT Men and Women of Sacramento Metro Fire.
Pays to Recycle:
Today Cambi headed to Stockton to learn of a new project Waste Management was doing for their customers. If you had a good and proper recycle bin a representative will knock on your door and give you a $50 Visa gift card. If they found wrong items they would leave you a flyer showing the proper items that should be in your bin or you could pay an $8.22 fine. So if you recycle right it pays if you do it wrong it doesn't pay. So the moral is recycle the right way and get $50.
Go for swim:
This morning Mark was with a local swim team trying to raise money for a new scoreboard. So to do that next week they will be holding a 24 hour swim meet. They are also going door to door to raise money.
Coming Out
A local man who was a Minister quit the church because he decided to come out and tell the world that he was in fact gay. Tim Rymel joined Marianne and Ken in studio to tell his story and to talk about his book called Going Gay. Also this Saturday is the Sacramento Gay Pride Parade.

For the last 2 days with all the vacations taking place Lori has been covering weather and assisting in the 9am hour with Julisaa. It is no secret that I love and respect Lori as a person, a mother and broadcaster, so having Lori on the weekday show makes me very happy and quite honestly if she wants to stay for the week I would not complain. However we need her for the weekend show so I would not be surprised if she is off or in the field one day prior to the weekend.
Daily List
Marianne's Daily list talked about foods even meat lovers can like. It's okay to eat beans, veggies and replace Mayo with Hummus or a Ranch Dressing.
Manly:
Today's Manly Minute had Ken talking about 5 things a dad should teach his son. Hmm not mine. I learned one thing from my dad. How to treat a woman. I'll leave it at that.
Beer:
Who doesn't love beer? Other than me. Today Cambi was in Stockton checking out local breweries and Fathers Day gift idea's in Beer. All these new beers can be found at Raley's and Bel Air Markets.
Tomorrow will be a great show on Good Day. No Cody remains on vacation but its a Dishin With Tina day and one day closer to the return of Kristin Marshall on Monday.

Leading off today the in studio role call. Ken, Marianne, Tina, Lori, and Mark. Ken started off Show and Tell with a picture of his son staying cool standing in a bucket of water, Tina showed pictures of her last few days on air including her trying to tackle Lance Briggs. Lori should a device called Puddle Jumper to keep kids safe in water. Mark had News of the Weird. The 5am Club Member was introduced. The Question of the day was Favorite Cold Beverage you treat yourself to. Marianne's Daily List was talking about foods vegans eat that meat lovers can enjoy too like veggies, beans and instead of mayo something else. Finally Sean talked to one of the owners from the fire that had his dog Daphne had to be rescued
6am:
In this hour Mark is out on the lake with a local swim team trying to raise money for a trip. They plan to pull Mark across the lake. Cambi is in Stockton with Waste Management handing out prizes for recycling right. Marianne had her Daily Joe that included a larger creature that looms in the ocean. Larger than a Great White. Todd and Nina from #Now100.5 checked in to talk about the Disneyland trip giveaway and Todd wants to wear a Speedo. Just say no.
7am:
Brian Cooley from CNet talked with Ken about new game consoles. Mark was continuing with the Swim Team as they Dog Sled styled a boat. Cambi was in Stockton surprising people with $50 gift cards from Waste Management for recycling. Marianne and Ken talked with former Minister turned Author Tim Rymel who told his story of coming to terms he is gay.
8am:
The #9amtopic was introduced with A Roseville couple decided to get off the couch, and lose 100 total pounds! Meagan and Arthur Hatfield decided to make a change when they got too big to fit on the couch together. So the question is "As a couple, we're the best at ___." Mark finished up with the swim team. Tina had a Bamboo towel in Check this out. Pinnacle Pest Control gave tips how to debug your house/yard. Marianne/Tina showed how to fold fitted sheets. Cambi was getting tips on proper recycle in Stockton. Teens Tunes was played.
9am:
In this hour with Lori and Julissa taking us through the #9amtopic Mark needs a buddy to go see 22 Jump Street tonight. Cambi learns what dads want for fathers day in Beer. Ken's Manly Minute talked about 5 things dads can teach you. Tina's live shot could not take place with a poor signal.

An early morning fire that displaced 17 families and pets had a happy ending. Several pets had to be rescued and one dog, Daphne had her picture taken with her getting O2 from the GREAT Men and Women of Sacramento Metro Fire.
Pays to Recycle:
Today Cambi headed to Stockton to learn of a new project Waste Management was doing for their customers. If you had a good and proper recycle bin a representative will knock on your door and give you a $50 Visa gift card. If they found wrong items they would leave you a flyer showing the proper items that should be in your bin or you could pay an $8.22 fine. So if you recycle right it pays if you do it wrong it doesn't pay. So the moral is recycle the right way and get $50.
Go for swim:
This morning Mark was with a local swim team trying to raise money for a new scoreboard. So to do that next week they will be holding a 24 hour swim meet. They are also going door to door to raise money.
Coming Out
A local man who was a Minister quit the church because he decided to come out and tell the world that he was in fact gay. Tim Rymel joined Marianne and Ken in studio to tell his story and to talk about his book called Going Gay. Also this Saturday is the Sacramento Gay Pride Parade.

22 Jump Street opens Friday in theaters and today on Good Day Mark was handing out tickets for a showing tonight for anyone who showed up at his live shot with a photo of a buddy or with a buddy in tow. Lori:
For the last 2 days with all the vacations taking place Lori has been covering weather and assisting in the 9am hour with Julisaa. It is no secret that I love and respect Lori as a person, a mother and broadcaster, so having Lori on the weekday show makes me very happy and quite honestly if she wants to stay for the week I would not complain. However we need her for the weekend show so I would not be surprised if she is off or in the field one day prior to the weekend.
Daily List
Marianne's Daily list talked about foods even meat lovers can like. It's okay to eat beans, veggies and replace Mayo with Hummus or a Ranch Dressing.
Manly:
Today's Manly Minute had Ken talking about 5 things a dad should teach his son. Hmm not mine. I learned one thing from my dad. How to treat a woman. I'll leave it at that.
Beer:
Who doesn't love beer? Other than me. Today Cambi was in Stockton checking out local breweries and Fathers Day gift idea's in Beer. All these new beers can be found at Raley's and Bel Air Markets.
Tomorrow will be a great show on Good Day. No Cody remains on vacation but its a Dishin With Tina day and one day closer to the return of Kristin Marshall on Monday.
